American singer, Beyoncé has revealed that she worked harder than anyone she knows in the industry.
This is as she added that she paid her dues a hundred times over.
Beyoncé is GQ Magazine’s October cover star.
“I have paid my dues a hundred times over. I have worked harder than anyone I know. And now I work smarter,” she stated.
“In the end, the biggest reward is personal joy. Has what I created pushed others to think freely and believe in the impossible? If the answer to that question is yes, then that is the gift.”
The ‘Brown Skin Girl’ crooner said singing is vital to her, stressing that without singing she would be “a walking dead.”
She said, “It [singing] is one of the deepest joys of my life, a necessity as vital as breath. Without singing, without music, without creating, I would be a walking dead. Creating music isn’t work for me; it’s what I was born to do.”
Beyoncé, 43, is the most awarded person in the Grammy’s history with a total of 32 awards.
She is also one of the world’s best-selling music artistes of all time.
Many music buffs have described her as “The Queen of Pop.”
