Lamine Yamal, the woeld-famous Spain wonderkid, has claimed that he has never spoken to Lionel Messi about a picture that has now gone viral.
The photos show Messi bathing Yamal when he was a toddler.
They have emerged as Yamal shone at Euro 2024 with La Roja.
When asked about it, he told Jijantes FC, “I have never spoken to Messi about the photo where he was bathing me.

“At the time of the photo with Messi, I was not aware, obviously.

“My father had it saved and we never brought it to light basically because of the issue of comparisons, which are never good.”
With both players bursting onto the scene with Barcelona, Yamal has earned comparisons with Messi.
But the 17-year-old admits he will never match the feats achieved by the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner.
“No one is bothered by being compared to the best player in history.

“But those are things that remain because I will never be like him,” Yamal said.
