Davido, Osimhen, Others Conferred National Awards

 
Famous singer, David Adeleke, aka Davido, and ace-filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan were among over 300 Nigerians awarded the Officer Of The Order of The Niger (OON).
 

The Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs announced on Sunday that the stars were among 339 prominent Nigerians who were given the national honours in 2023.
  

Super Eagles and Napoli Striker, Victor Osimhen is the Serie A top scorer. He received the MFR (Member of The Order of Federal Republic) cadre.
 
Benue-born socialite, Terry Waya was conferred with the OFR (Order of the Federal Republic) cadre.
 
The recipients will officially receive their medals and certificates on June 1, 2023.
 
Recall that last year, President Muhammadu Buhari conferred national honours on entertainers, 2Baba, Burna Boy and Teni.
