BREAKING: Donald Trump Injured, Rushed Off Stage After Gunshots Are Fired At Pennsylvania Rally

 
Former United States President, Donald Trump was rushed offstage by the Secret Service during a rally in the swing state of Pennsylvania.
He was rushed off stage after what gunfire was heard from the crowd.
Trump appeared to be hit and sank to the ground after the gunshots were heard and was escorted to his motorcade by armed agents with blood visible on his right ear and streaking his cheek.
Trump pumped his fist before being put into a vehicle. It was unclear where he was taken.
A representative for Trump did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
US President Joe Biden, who is currently in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, was asked by a reporter if he had been briefed on the situation with former president Trump. He replied “no”. A White House spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The incident happened just days before the start of the Republican National Convention, when Trump is set to formally accept his party’s nomination for president.
