Evicted Big Brother housemate Uriel Ngozi Oputa aka Uriel has publicly expressed regret for supporting and campaigning for BBN Lockdown winner Olamilekan Moshood Agbeleshe, better known as Laycon.
This comes after she was was evicted from the reality show on Sunday after being nominated for eviction by the Jury panel, comprising of former housemates of the show: Laycon, Teddy A, and Diana.
Uriel, who received the second-fewest votes for the week, was evicted in a decision that has been met with criticism from some social media users, who took to Twitter to call out the jury over the decision.
Reacting to her eviction while appearing as a guest on Naija FM for her media rounds, the reality star said she would scrap the jury evictions if she could.
She also subtly called out Laycon for allegedly voting her out of the show, stating that she absolutely regrets campaigning for the past BBNaija winner who was a jury member.
Although she failed to directly mention Laycon’s name, it is apparent that the statement was directed towards Laycon, as he is the only member of the show to have previously won the show.
She said, “I don’t know who voted for me to leave, but I kind of do know. I will say this: I absolutely regret campaigning for the person to win, and I don’t know who the person is, but if you won, you know your name.
Whoever won that was on the jury, I really regret campaigning for them.”
