The heart-wrenching incident involved two southside Compton Crips street gang members, who unleashed gunfire upon the SUV Yetunde was in, according to the prosecution’s account. The bullets tragically found their way to her head, leading to her swift passing. 
Despite efforts to save her, she was declared deceased upon her arrival at a hospital. The family had to endure the painful loss of Yusef Rasheed and their daughter Yetunde, a series of events that undoubtedly profoundly impacted their lives.

Following the passing of her husband, Oracene Price found love again and entered into a private wedding ceremony with Richard Williams, an esteemed American tennis coach, in 1980. Their intimate gathering included close family members, friends, and relatives who celebrated the union.
