Faye Hadley might not be the person you’d expect to see at an auto repair shop, but she’s actually quite skilled at fixing vehicles. Her journey began as a dream which was gradually realized through hard work and determination.
The field of vehicle mechanics captured Hadley’s interest from age 15, but it wasn’t until later in life that she indeed pursued it. Coming from a strong academic background, she graduated from Harvard University with a degree in psychology, which led her to a career as a therapist.

Despite having a degree in therapy, Faye Hadley chose to pursue her passion for cars. She embarked on this journey in 2012 when she landed her first job as a lube technician. Her first-ever engine rebuild was on a VW Rabbit in 2010, conducted under the guidance of Jesse Whitsell of Banchwerks.
Although she enjoyed helping others, she found that her work as a therapist was not quite what she was looking for. Her turning point came during a car journey when her Volkswagen GTI broke down, and she had no mechanical skills to fix it.
