Who is Kim Kardashian? 
Kim Kardashian is a renowned American socialite, reality TV star, film and television series actress, fashion model, and entrepreneur. She is widely known for being one of the cast members of the high-grossing reality TV show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Kim started gaining media attention and scrutiny in February 2007 after a home s*x tape she made with her then-romantic partner, Ray, J, in October 2003 was leaked.
Shortly after her lovemaking tape made it to the news, Kim Kardashian, one of the Kardashian family members, got a slot to feature in the Kardashian–Jenner reality TV show, which focuses on the Kardashian and Jenner family sharing their personal and professional lives. Keeping Up With The Kardashians is a highly-rated show which premiered on October 14, 2007, on the E! cable network, running for 20 seasons for almost fourteen years (between October 14 and March 18, 2021). It featured Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, her (Kris) second spouse Caitlyn Jenner, and Kim’s siblings, Khloé Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner. 
Kim’s name is more popular following her appearance as one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in 2015. That said, I will be writing about Kim Kardashian’s biography, her family & parents, and other interesting facts you probably don’t know about her yet, till you finish reading this article. Kim Kardashian Biography 
Kim Kardashian was born Kimberly Noel Kardashian on October 21, 1980, in Los Angeles, California, in the United States of America, and is 42 years old — her zodiac sign is Libra. She was raised by her middle-income-earners parents, Robert Kardashian and Kristen Mary Jenner (nee Houghton). She grew up with her older sister, Kourtney Kardashian, her younger sister, Khloé Kardashian, and her younger brother, named after her father, Rob Kardashian. On the other hand, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner are the names of her younger stepsisters, whom her mother had from her marriage to Kim’s stepfather, Caitlyn Jenner. Burton “Burt” Brandon Jenner (stepbrother), Brody Jenner (stepbrother), and Casey Jenner (stepsister) are the names of the step-siblings she inherited from her stepfather’s previous relationships.

As a US native, Kim holds American citizenship by birth and has an ethnic background classified under the White American. Her mother is said to have had an ancestry traced back to Irish, Dutch, English, and Scottish, while her father, Robert, has a third-generation Armenian-American ancestry. Mary Jo Campbell and Robert Houghton are the names of her maternal grandparents. In contrast, Helen Kardashian and Arthur Kardashian are the names of her paternal grandparents.

And although she does not have a college degree currently, sources confirm that Kim has an ambition of becoming a lawyer, a decision she allegedly made after becoming heavily involved in prison reform. 
At the young age of sixteen, Kimberly Noel Kardashian’s father, Robert Kardashian, agreed to buy her a new car after she had complained to him about totaling her car. However, her father agreed that she would be responsible for paying all expenses related to any future damages the car may incur. Around those years, she got a new job at a local clothing store in Encino, California, tagged “Body,” where she worked for about four years before resigning. 
Kim Kardashian Siblings, Parents’ Marriage
Kim Kardashian’s parents, Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner tied their wedding knot in a private wedding held in the United States in 1978. Less than a year after their marriage was officiated, the young lovers had their first child Kourtney Kardashian (born in 1979 and is now 43 years old). In 1980, Kim Kardashian was born, followed by their third child, Khloé Kardashian (born in 1984 and currently 38 years old), and their third child and only son, Rob Kardashian (born in 1987 and is currently 35 years old). Married between 1978 and 1991, the lovers had four children before their marriage hit the rocks.
Kim Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, married the retired Olympic decathlon champion, Bruce Jenner (born in 1949 and is currently 73 years old). They were married from April 21, 1991 – March 23, 2015. After their union, Bruce underwent a gender transition in 2015, changing his identity to Caitlyn Jenner.
Kris and Bruce Jenner (now known as Caitlyn Jenner) had their first child Kendall Jenner (born in 1995 and is 27 years old), and their second child, Kylie Jenner (born in 1997 and is 25 years old).
Kris and Caitlyn went their separate ways in 2015, but Kris got hitched to Corey Gamble in 2014, with whom she is still in a romantic relationship. 
On the other hand, Kim Kardashian’s father, Robert Kardashian, got married to Jan Ashley (married between 1998 and 1999). After he and Jan Ashley went their separate businesses, Robert got married to Ellen Pierson (married 2003 and 2003), whom he was married to for less than a year before dying eight weeks after being diagnosed with esophageal cancer. 
Kimberly Noel Kardashian’s father, Robert, was born on February 22, 1944, in Los Angeles, California, in the United States of America, and is supposed to be 78 years old in January 2023. However, he died on September 30, 2003, in Los Angeles, California, in the United States, at age 59. As a lawyer and legal practitioner, Robert Kardashian rose to the spotlight in 1995 for being O. J. Simpson’s friend and defense attorney during Simpson’s 1995 murder trial. On the other hand, Kim Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, is a widely celebrated reality TV star, socialite, and businesswoman known for making appearances in the family hit show, “Keeping Up with The Kardashians.”
Kim Kardashian’s Husbands & Children 
In 2000 at the age of eighteen, Kim Kardashian got hitched to American music producer Damon Thomas, with whom she was married until 2003 after the producer filed for a divorce from her. Blaming their separation on physical and emotional abuse on Damon Thomas’ part, sources confirm that Kim started a relationship with singer Ray J, with whom she had a home lovemaking tape in October 2003, which would later leak in February 2007.
After her relationship with Ray J ended, Kim Kardashian started dating NBA player Kris Humphries (then a player for the New Jersey Nets), with whom she got engaged in May 2011. Kris Humphries and Kim started dating in October 2010 and tied their wedding knot in a private wedding held on August 20, 2011, in Montecito, California. Kimberly Noel Kardashian’s wedding was aired on E! in early October 2011, amidst what the famous American media outlet, The Washington Post, termed a “media blitz” related to the wedding. 
Kim Kardashian filed for a divorce from Kris Humphries seventy-two days after their marriage. She filed the case on October 31, 2011, but the divorce was finalized on June 3, 2013, with the young couple going their different ways. Kim described their divorce, citing what the media termed “irreconcilable differences” as the cause. The quick separation of the young couple made tongues wag, with different media outlets alleging that Kim staged the marriage to promote her family’s brand (Keeping up with the Kardashians). 
A few months into her marriage with Kris Humphries, Kimberly Noel Kardashian started dating rapper, Kanye West, who was said to be her long-time friend. The duo started in April 2012, even though Kim was legally married to Kris then and became engaged on October 21, 2013, during Kimberly’s 33rd birthday. On May 24, 2014, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West tied their wedding knot in a ceremony held at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy. According to sources, her wedding dress was designed by the famous designer Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy, with some of the celebrity guests’ dresses designed by designer Michael Costello. 
Kim Kardashian and her husband, Kanye West, had four children before their divorce. They had their first child, North Kardashian, born on June 15, 2013, and is currently nine years old. Their second child and first son is Saint Kardashian, born on December 5, 2015, and is currently seven years old. Chicago Kardashian (second daughter), born on January 15, 2018, and is currently four years old, is their third child, while Psalm Kardashian, born on May 9, 2019, is currently three years old, is the name of their last child and second son.

Notably, the mother of four, Kim Kardashian, revealed that she had to deal with complications during her first two pregnancies in one of her interviews. As it turns out, she experienced preeclampsia during her first pregnancy, which forced her to deliver at 34 weeks. And well, her doctors advised her not to get pregnant again after her second pregnancy, so she had her third and fourth pregnancies through surrogacy. In other news, she developed placenta accreta after delivery during her first two pregnancies, which made her undergo surgery to remove the placenta and scar tissue. 
And looking at their eventual divorce, a report released in January 2021 by CNN alleged that Kim and Kanye were discussing divorce. On February 19, 2021, however, another report from the same outlet reported that Kim Kardashian officially filed for divorce from Kanye West. They would later agree to have joint custody of their four children, signing that neither of them would need spousal support after agreeing to end their marriage in court due to what they legally termed “irreconcilable differences.”
“Mr. West, by his actions, has made it clear that he does not accept that the parties’ marital relationship is over.” This was Kim Kardashian’s complaint to the court in February 2022 sitting in Los Angeles Superior Court to pressure them to be quicker with the proceedings in the divorce from West. Notably, Kimberly Noel Kardashian West was declared legally single by a judgment of a court sitting in Los Angeles, California, which gave her the legal right to drop “West” as her legal last name. 
Before their divorce was finalized on November 29, 2022, Kim Kardashian was already romantically involved with actor and comedian Pete Davidson, whom she started dating in November 2021. In August 2022, however, Kim and Pete went their separate ways. As of January 2023, Kim Kardashian is neither married nor in any romantic relationship. 
Kim Kardashian’s Career Journey to a Famous American Reality TV Star 
Kimberly Noel Kardashian started gaining popularity after a home s*x tape of her and her one-time boyfriend, Ray J, leaked. While she is infamous because of her leaked s*x tape, Kim has grown above that over the past few decades and has more or less leveraged the unfortunate incident for her branding. As it were, she was introduced to the socialite and entertainment scene by her lifelong friend, Paris Hilton, in the early 2000s. 
The same year her home s*x tape leaked, Kim Kardashian began a career in the entertainment industry with her appearance in the widely watched American reality TV show, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” often abbreviated to KUWTK. It aired its first episode (season) on the E! cable network on October 14, 2007; keeping Up With The Kardashians continued airing until June 20, 2021, when it aired its final episode. Oh, and well, it is considered one of the most popular and long-term reality TV shows in American history, with it having about 280 plus 6 specials and twenty seasons in total.

Because of the success of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, for which Kim Kardashian, her siblings, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian are known, many spin-offs, including “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” and “Kourtney and Kim Take Miami” were created from the show. That said, Kim is not only known for her appearance in this family reality TV show, but she is also a successful entrepreneur who owns many brands and businesses, including a perfume line. She is also known for her book, which she titled “Kardashian Konfidential.”

Earning about $80 million as an annual salary, Kimberly Noel Kardashian’s net worth in 2021 was $1 billion, and $900 million the year before, in 2019. She accumulated this high net worth from her career in the entertainment industry — she is by far considered one of the high-grossing reality TV stars. 
Kim Kardashian COVID-19 (Coronavirus) 
Following the widespread of the novel Coronavirus, a report in May 2021 alleged that Kimberly Noel Kardashian had contracted Coronavirus; tested positive for the virus in November 2020. In May, she confirmed that she and her four kids contracted the virus, a development which would later lead to the shutting down of production of her show for about two weeks. And although she confirmed this report via her social media platforms, Kim later denied the report after she was rumored to have hosted a party on a private island.
