Jett was born on September 14, 2003, to Juwan and Jenine Howard in Chicago. He is a professional American basketballer. he played for the Orlando Magic of the NBA. He also plays the shooting and point guard positions for his college and the NBA.
His father, Juwan Howard, played for the NBA for 21 years before he retired. He became the head coach of his alma mater for the University of Michigan basketball team, the Michigan Wolverines.
Jett also has a half-brother, Juwan Howard, Jr., the son of Juwan and Markita Blyden (an MHSAA basketball champion ). Juwan Jr. has the All-Horizon League 2nd team, and in 2014 and 2015, he won the selection for the Detroit Titans two times.
His other half-brother, Josh Howard, the son of Juwan (Jett’s father) and Tabatha Johnson, has played for the Brown Bears of Brown University for four years, from 2016 to 2020.

High School Career
During his freshman and sophomore seasons from 2018 to 2020, Jett went to NSU University School. Then, from 2020 to 2022, he transferred to IMG Academy for his junior and senior seasons.
Jett’s brother Jace played with him (Jett) at NSU University in both his junior and senior seasons from 2018 to 2020. Jett and all his brothers, along with Taylor Hendricks, Scottie Barnes, and Vernon Carey Jr., played together and defended the University team FHSSA Class 5A State championship successfully from 2018 to 2019.

The brothers had a victory over Andrew Jackson High School. Jett joined the USA U16 National Team training camp and the 3 USA Basketball Junior National Team minicamps in 2018 and 2019.
College Career
In his freshman season, Jett played for the Michigan Wolverines, which began on November 7, 2022. He has a 75–56 win over Purdue Fort Wayne. he contributed a total of 21 points in his debut, which made him become the first Wolverine to make his debut with 20 plus points, coming in behind Jamal Crawford’s 21 on November 19, 1999.
Jett also earned a Big Ten Freshman of the Week recognition in his first week of play, which ended on November 13, 2022. In January, he was listed as a future NBA draft lottery pick for 2023.
