Jace Howard is a 6ft 7 guard for the Wolverines. He is a sophomore.
He attended Michigan after he’d spent his last two years in Boca Raton, Florida, at his high school at Nova Southeastern University.
Jace helped the team win a state championship. This is just his first year at the University School. He averaged an impressive 5.5 points and 4.2 rebounds.
The following year, Jace got a good record for a career-best of 10.8 points in each game, and he has a total average of 6.3 rebounds.
He was a 3-star recruit, ranked 390th prospect nationwide in the class of 2020.
He was the 31st-best recruit in all of Florida and also the No. 75 small forward in the nation. Jace chose the Wolverines over Saint Louis, Northern Illinois, Dayton, and San Diego State.
From the moment he came to Michigan, Jace had initially been benched; he only appeared in 11 games throughout the 2020 and 2021 seasons and just 14 games in the 2021 and 2022 campaigns.

Juwan had a thriving and impressive career in the NBA for 21 years before he retired and became the head coach of his alma mater, the Michigan Wolverines.
Juwan received several accolades and awards throughout his career. Several of such awards were an NBA All-Star, NCAA All-American, and an NBA champion.
Jace has two brothers who are also into the basketball legacy: Juwan Howard Jr., who is Jace’s half-brother, whose mother is the MHSAA basketball champion Markita Blydenson, and Jett Howard.
In 2014 and 2015, Juwan also achieved accolades as a 2-time All-Horizon League for his 2nd team selection for the Detroit Titans.

Jace isn’t the only Howard family member who comes from a basketball heritage. 247Sports ranks Jett Howard, Jace’s younger brother, at number 37 in the class of 2022. Jett is considered a 4-star recruit.

At IMG Academy in Bradenton, Jett is a small forward. He ranks number as a 10 prospect in Florida, and he is eager to join his father and brother at the University of Michigan for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
It is said that Papa Howard still wants his younger son to go through the normal recruitment process, which includes visits to Tennessee, Georgetown, and N.C. State.

The 3-star forward, who is also the son of Juwan Howard, who is a head coach at the University of Michigan, has committed himself to play basketball at the university his father coaches.
Jace has chosen the Wolverines scholarships over offers from San Diego State, Saint Louis, Dayton, and Northern Illinois.
He is ranked number 250 in the class of 2020 and also ranked 43 as a small forward and number 22 player from Florida. Jace is also a 3-star on Rivals. However, he doesn’t have a player profile on ESPN.
Jace is 6 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds, and he is the 5th member of the University of Michigan’s loaded class.
He’s right next to the 5-star Isaiah Todd and four-stars Hunter Dickinson, Terrance Williams, and Zeb Jackson.
