Hervé Jean-Marie Roger Renard, a 54 years old football coach, is prominent for coaching France’s women’s national football team and Saudi Arabia’s national football team for the Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022.

On September 30, 1968, Herve Renard was born in Aix-les-Bains, Auvergne-RhĂ´ne-Alpes, France.

Herve Renard started playing football at the age of 15 in 1983. He played as a defender for French clubs AS Cannes, Stade de Vallauris, and SC Draguignan in a football career that lasted from 1983 to 1998.
Renard’s journey into coaching was somewhat unconventional. After his football playing career ended, he was offered to coach at SC Draguignan.
But Renard didn’t just take on the coaching role; he also took on the role of a cleaner. This dual role set the stage for a grueling routine that shaped his career.
Every day, Renard would rise in the middle of the night, at 2:30 AM, and make his way to a block of flats where he would diligently carry out cleaning tasks and manage rubbish disposal.
He continued this demanding work until noon when he would switch gears and prepare for his coaching duties later in the afternoon at SC Draguignan.
Speaking to BBC Sport in 2019, Renard shared insights into his relentless schedule during that period: “We trained, and I’d return at around 9 PM to eat and then go to bed at 11 PM. That was my rhythm of life for eight years.”
His dedication was evident as he strived to balance his cleaning job with his passion for coaching.

How Does He Line Up His Team?
Saudi Arabia put on a feisty and fervent performance against Argentina. The Saudis generated opportunities and prevented Argentina from scoring more than once, thanks to a high line and pressure on Messi.
Messi and Lautaro Martinez were repeatedly caught offside due to their defensive discipline, which resulted in three goals being disallowed in the first half alone.
In a modest alteration from their qualifying system, Saudi Arabia stood up against Argentina in a 4-3-3, allowing them to be more daring in their attempts to win the ball back.
