The stepdaughters episode 83

Grace arriving home in the morning. Mayumi asked where she spent the night and Grace said she was at a friend’s house. She said that she couldn’t call because her phone died. Mayumi told Grace to charge her phone and stay in contact because they were all worried about her. Grace snapped at Mayumi for reprimanding her and told her to stop nagging.

Mayumi was surprised by her behavior and they started to argue. Mayumi told Grace about Ailene’s death but she did not seem remorseful. She said that it was good Ailene died and Mayumi should be happy because she could now be with Francis.

Luisa came to ask what was going on and Grace immediately changed her attitude to make it look like Mayumi was harassing her. Mayumi got upset and asked Grace not to change her story. She got agitated and suddenly felt ill so Luisa and Grace brought her to the hospital.
After the doctor checked Mayumi, she said that the baby was fine. Grace asked for permission to leave and go home to rest. When she left, Mayumi told Luisa that there was something wrong with Grace.
Francis was also at the hospital because he had taken Ailene’s son, Yuri there. Yuri had collapsed after hearing about his mother’s death. When he was at the ER, he found out that Mayumi had been taken there too. He tried to ask her doctor what Mayumi’s sickness was but the doctor couldn’t tell him.

Francis went to Mayumi’s room to check on her and heard Sasha asking if Mayumi knew the gender of her baby. Francis asked what baby Luisa was quick to say that they were talking about Aunt Baby. Francis thought he misheard them and continued to ask why Mayumi was at the hospital. She said that she just felt dizzy. Mayumi found out that Yuri at the hospital too and went to see him. She told him that Francis would take care of him even if his mother was gone.

Grace went to see Isabelle and Daphne and they encouraged her to kill Mayumi. They reminded Grace that she was the one who killed Ailene and she might go to jail if Mayumi found out.

At home, Grace brought a bowl of fruits to Mayumi that the housekeeper had prepared. She took a knife too and wanted to stab Mayumi but Luisa went inside the room. Grace hid the knife and walked out. Luisa thought she was trying to be sweet in order to make up with Mayumi.

Later, Grace added bleach to Mayumi’s milk and brought it to her. Mayumi was about to call it but she got a call from Sasha. When she got off the phone, she felt nauseous so she could not drink it. Grace insisted that she take it and shoved it in Mayumi’s face. Mayumi pushed the glass away and it fell on the ground. Grace got mad and accused Mayumi of refusing to accept her apology because she couldn’t drink the milk. Luisa stopped them again from fighting and tried to make Mayumi understand Grace. Mayumi however wouldn’t listen and said there was something wrong with Grace.

Mayumi bought a puppy as a birthday present for Hernan. She left it in her room and Grace found it when she went inside. She played with the puppy for a while but then drowned it in the toilet. When Mayumi came back to her room, she was surprised to see the puppy dead. She immediately accused Grace of doing it.

Grace went to see Isabelle and Daphne again to tell them what she had done. Isabelle got impatient and told her that she was supposed to kill Mayumi, not the puppy. Since they were holding a party Hernan’s birthday, Isabelle said she would attend and help Grace get rid of Mayumi.

When Grace arrived home, Mayumi asked her about the dog. Grace denied killing it and acted offended for being blamed. Luisa also got upset with Mayumi for accusing Grace.

The next day, the housekeepers found dog food in Grace’s room. Mayumi was therefore able to prove that Grace went to her room and had most likely killed the dog. She had already left for the party with Luisa and Hernan so Mayumi decided to confront her there.
When Mayumi arrived at the party, she told Luisa what she found out. She told Luisa that they had to be careful of Grace and send her to the hospital because she was acting weird.

Grace met with Daphne and Isabelle and they gave her something to use against Mayumi. Mayumi found the three of them together when she went looking for Grace. She asked what they were doing together and Isabelle quickly explained that Grace was trying to stop them from going inside the party. Mayumi tried to make Isabelle leave but she said she was Hernan’s daughter.

Grace and Sasha were worried about Mayumi and Grace so they went looking for them. (Luisa apparently fought with Isabelle and Grace defended her). Luisa was grateful to Grace for defending her from Isabelle and Grace said she did not want to see anyone hurt her.
Isabelle spoke to Hernan and told him that Mayumi and Luisa attacked her. Hernan however took this to mean that Isabelle attacked Mayumi and Luisa. He told her to leave because he did not want any trouble at his party.

After seeing how Grace defended Luisa, Mayumi thought that she might have been too harsh on her. She therefore spoke to Grace and told her that she considered her a sister. She therefore wanted them to get along and live like a family.

Grace went to the bathroom and seemed conflicted about whether to continue with her plans against Mayumi. Daphne followed her to remind her about their plans.
