The Good Son on zee one Tuesday 18th April 2023 update, Ramesh telling Chaturvedi that they shall fix the alliance and seal it with engagement. Chaturvedi agrees. Ramesh applies Tilak to Radhika and Avinash and gives shagun money to Avinash, shocking everyone. Chaturvedi gives money in Radhika’s hand. Radhika looks at Vedant as Ramesh gives her hand in Avinash’s hand and asks him to keep her happy. Gomti thinks such sudden alliance can happen in Ramesh’s rule.

Later Radhika is in room and crying. Vedant asks her not to cry and says your brother is with you. Purva says nobody thought babu ji will do this. Radhika says Tau ji fixed her alliance. Narendra and Sumiti come there and hear Vedant saying Radhika that he will make her marry Prateik, as he is a nice guy and she loves him. Narendra asks do you love him? Sumiti says

they can’t allow love marriage. Vedant tells them that he met Prateik and he is really a nice guy. He tells that Radhika told them about Prateik. Narendra asks her why she didn’t tell him. Vedant tells Narendra that he didn’t like Avinash. Narendra agrees with Vedant.
Ramesh asks if he dropped Pankhudi bahu to her room. Sanju says yes, she was very tired. Ramesh asks Manjula to give icecream to everyone. Narendra says you announced Radhika’s roka and didn’t talk to her. Ramesh says he don’t think he needs to ask. Dadi says Narendra is right. Ramesh says I have been taking decision all life. He taunts Narendra for his insurance job and asks him to thank him for his favors. Narendra says you have many favors on me, but I will not repay it with Radhika’s happiness. He says Radhika likes a guy whom Vedant met and he is a really nice guy. Ramesh says you will not take her decision. Narendra says my daughter loves him, just like Sanju loves Pankhudi. Ramesh asks Narendra not to compare his son with Radhika and asks him to leave the house. Sumiti says Radhika is a girl and she will make her understand. Vedant says we are talking about her marriage, so she is not a little girl. He asks Ramesh to listen to him as Radhika is his sister.

Ramesh calls him dirty Gudadi and slaps him hard. He says when you are not my son, then how can you be her brother. Vedant says then also, I won’t let anything wrong happen with her. Sumiti asks them not to interfere in their family matters. Vedant says I am nothing to you all, but this house is everything to me and I won’t let anything wrong happen with her. He holds Radhika’s hand and takes her to room. Purva asks Radhika not to worry. Radhika says sorry to him. Vedant says I will get you married to Prateik with family members wish. Sumiti takes Narendra to room and says you did wrong by fighting with Ramesh. Narendra says Bhai Saheb did wrong by fixing her alliance. Sumiti says all our luxury is because of Bhai Saheb and says if we go against him then we will become poor, which I don’t want. Narendra says do you know how Avinash is? Sumiti says we have to be clever and break the engagement with Ramesh’s approval.

Vedant talks to Dada ji’s pic and says I am with everyone, but nobody is with me. He asks why did you ask me to keep everyone united. Purva comes and hugs him, says because Dada ji used to trust you, like I trust you. She says she is always with him. She says I know you are feeling defeated, and asks him to close his eyes and see something good. Vedant says I just want to see them united and happy. Purva says you will do this, and says I am proud of you, and I am with you in your try.

Sanju tells Ramesh that he is upset with Vedant as he said that when he is marrying Pankhudi then Radhika will marry Prateik. Ramesh says you will marry with your wish and Radhika will marry with my wish. He tells Sanju that he will get all the property on his name on his birthday. He gets a call and asks the man to get ready with the arrangements. Sanju asks what is his planning? Ramesh says you will know before the day ends.

Everyone is having breakfast at the table. Manjula asks him to pass the curd. Vedant gives to her. Dadi tells that she is going to Kil devi temple for the peace. Vedant says I will make arrangements for your travel.

Later Ramesh calls Someone when Vedant leaves from the house, and asks him to do the work. He calls Lawyer and asks if the work will be done. Lawyer says if Vedant dies due to any reason then everything will be transferred to him. He sees Dadi standing on side of road and asks the driver. Dadi says car stopped. Vedant asks Dadi to come with him and asks driver to take car home. The lorry driver is behind Vedant’s car and is about to hit his car.

Vedant asking Purva to become expressive of her feelings. Purva comes near him. Vedant says you are trapped with me, your husband looks at you and want to hear from you all life. He drinks something and touches her face. He then walks out of room. Purva thinks he looks like Vedant, but is looking someone else. Ramesh takes paper from lawyers. Vedant comes and takes the papers from his hand. Ramesh asks him to return the papers. Vedant sits on sofa and says you will not get better. He asks you wants to threaten me to get the papers. He asks your problem is that you don’t take me seriously. He says this house mukhiya is me, and that means I am the head. He asks if everyone understood. He burns the papers. Purva smiles. Vedant smashes the burning papers with his foot and says sorry

to lawyer. He says now you can’t help him (Ramesh) and says thank you, signing towards the door.
Vedant says nobody shall pester me over the fact that I am head of the house, rather than get stamp from him (Ramesh). Ramesh gets angry and raises his hand to slap him. Vedant holds his neck and pushes him on the sofa shocking everyone. Sanju looks angrily. Purva thinks how can Vedant change suddenly. Vedant says think of your age before doing this. He says we will play babu ji’s favorite game deal deal deal and asks him to call him by his name and calls him Tripathi Saheb. Pankhudi is happy seeing Vedant’s arrogant behavior.

Pankhudi comes to Puva and says we are of each other family after Maa and Papa gone, and asks her to forget everything. Purva says it will take time. Pankhudi asks about his change behavior. Purva says when he went out of house, he was Vedant, but whoever has returned is not him. Pankhudi says she is happy seeing how he took a stand for himself.

Everyone hear band baja sound. Vedant brings band baja with Prateik and his parents. He asks Prateik to sit. Prateik sits hesitantly. Vedant asks everyone to control their surprise faces and tells that the guy is Prateik, Radhika’s would be husband and her inlaws Mrs and Mr. Sharma. Narendra and others greets them. He tells Prateik’s parents that he liked Prateik so much, and found him to be matured and understanding. Sanju is leaving. Vedant says you shall not go without asking me. He holds Radhika’s hand and makes her sit with Prateik. He takes Radhika and Prateik’s pic and says I will get your prewedding photo shoot. He throws money after taking off bad sight from him. He tells Ramesh that Prateik is better than his choice and asks him to bless him. He makes Ramesh forced to bless them. Sanju shouts..Vedant tells him that he will smash his face that nobody will recognize. He announces that Radhika will marry Prateik. Radhika thanks Vedant and hugs him. Vedant says I told you that you will marry with your wish and will not let your life ruined. He asks band guys to play the band and says first of all, girl’s tauji will dance. He teases Ramesh to dance. He asks band guys to play band like that. He asks Purva and Manjula to welcome the damad nicely.

He asks Pankhudi to stay there for tonight and says we have to do the marriage arrangements. Narendra is happy and thinks where was this Vedant hidden? Sumiti tells that Prateik’s mother wasn’t wearing any good jewellery, and says she will not let her marry in a poor family and she will marry Avinash only. Ramesh comes and tells that Radhika will marry Avinash only. Sumiti says how we will convince Radhika. Pankhudi comes to her room and sees Sanju there. Sanju says Vedant did right by stopping her in their house. He holds her legs and says you are tied with me and this is the footcuff. Pankhudi asks him to leave her. Sanju makes her wear anklet and asks her to say I love you. he says he is mad for her and this marriage is just a ritual. He asks her to wear the other anklet. Pankhudi takes off the anklet.
