My Journey To You ZeeWorld Full Story follows the complex love story between Amruta Jayesh Chitnis, a banker seeking a suitable and understanding partner, and Virat Singh Ahuja, a disillusioned man who has lost faith in love and believes relationships are driven by financial motives. Amidst family disputes, societal expectations, and personal vendettas, Amruta and Virat’s paths cross tumultuously.

They navigate through misunderstandings, betrayal, and conflicts, only to find themselves entwined in a reluctant and complicated relationship that gradually reveals deeper emotional connections and challenges their initial perceptions of love and trust.

Amruta Jayesh Chitnis does not want to hurry marriage and wants to find a suitable and understanding partner first. On the other hand, Virat Singh Ahuja is someone who has been cheated in love and believes love and relationships are all fake, and that all women are money-minded. The series follows the love story of these two contrasting personalities.

Amruta is a banker, who lives with her father Jayesh, mother Bhavani and brother Harsh. On the day of her parents’ 30th wedding anniversary, she happens to attend a roka (engagement) ceremony of a wealthy family, the Ahujas. One of the heirs, Nimrit, is the one getting engaged while the other, Virat, is in charge of its organization. Their mother Babita asks Amruta to transfer a huge amount to the groom, Rajiv’s account as a “roka gift”. While transferring the money, she talks to Harsh over call and talks to him about how rich people give dowry in the guise of “roka gifts”. This conversation is heard by the Ahujas who immediately form a very bad opinion of her.

The Ahujas move to a penthouse which is near Amruta’s apartment where the anniversary functions were happening, adding fuel to the feud. It is then revealed that Jayesh has an affair with Ishika, his new neighbour and Babita’s friend. On the same day the following incidents take place: Jayesh declares that he wants to divorce his wife who he finds boring and wants to live with Ishika; he thinks his children will choose him, but they choose their mother and leave with her, moving into Jahaan Kaur’s house, their kind neighbour.

Having been fired from the bank by Virat upon his mother’s insistence, Amruta loses her only opportunity to support her mother and brother, both a stay-at-home mother and a student respectively. But by reluctantly blackmailing Virat into exposing their dowry scam, she ends up getting her job back unbeknownst to the rest of the Ahuja family, on the sole condition of doing Virat’s orders as his PA. In the meantime, Amruta’s father asks for a divorce from her mother who refuses to leave her home for the sake of her children.

Virat tries various methods to instigate Amruta so that she leaves her job, but she stands strong. Rajiv, Nimrit’s fiancé has grudges against Amruta as she had judged him for taking dowry. As revenge, he sends his friends to misbehave with Amruta during his bachelor’s party at the Ahujas’ house where Virat had asked Amruta to come to do some work. She fights them and Virat witnesses the altercation. Rajiv’s hatred towards her increases. Amruta realises Rajiv’s involvement in her harassment and decides to expose Rajiv’s true nature to others, including his affair with another girl named Tara.

She collects enough proof of Rajiv’s relationship with Tara but Nimrit elopes and marries him anyway. Dildar, Nimrit’s father, and Virat, her brother, are the only ones against this union. To teach a good lesson to the new “Jamai” (son-in-law), they behave with him as if he were the daughter-in-law of the family, making him move in with them, that is, his in-laws, and perform rites intended for the bahu (daughter-in-law). Meanwhile, Jayesh pressures Bhavani to bring her children back to him. At the same time, Gautam, Amruta’s then fiancé, behaves nicely towards her to fall into the good graces of Virat whose trust in his assistant has been strengthened following the problem of Nimrit, to the point of confiding to him the secret of his divorce from a certain Priyanka.

But the arrival of Aaji, Jayesh’s traditionalist mother, turns everything upside down. Firstly, due to the Chitnis family’s unwillingness to disappoint her, her son is forced to pretend to still be married to Bhavani. Secondly, she does not hesitate to defend Amruta every time Babita reprimands her, based on and emphasizing their class differences. Finally, she unintentionally breaks the friendship between her granddaughter and Virat, by exposing the latter’s secret, of him being a divorcee, to everyone during the Makar Sankranti celebrations. As a result, Virat accuses Amruta and judges her incapable of keeping this secret that only she and the Ahujas knew. To punish Amruta, Virat in turn exposes Ishika and Jayesh’s affair to Aaji which breaks Aaji’s heart along with Gautam and Amruta’s engagement.

But it does not stop there. After Amruta slaps him when Virat ridicules Aaji’s health, Ishika makes the act go viral through a video without his knowledge. Virat is made to believe that Amruta was the one who took the video and sold it to a news company for a lot of money. He makes sure to ruin Amruta’s reputation in front of a marriage suitor in a “Vivah Sammelan” (Marriage get-together). As a result, Amruta resigns and Virat ensures that she never gets a new job. Dildar, Virat’s father, has a soft spot for Amruta and does not hold her accountable for any of the things Ishika has accused her of. So, unbeknownst to the Ahujas, he offers her a job in a renowned company located in Delhi. Amruta thanks him wholeheartedly for the opportunity and his continued support. However, as she is about to leave for Delhi, Virat throws Amruta in jail when his 10 crore rupees go missing and he suspects Amruta.

In actuality, it was Rajiv and Tara who stole the money by forging Virat’s signature onto a cheque of 10 crores during the Lohri celebrations (just a day before the Makar Sankranti celebrations). Afraid of Amruta finding proof of her innocence, Rajiv conspires to mix ‘Shengadana’ (Peanuts) to which Amruta is allergic, in her food. Upon having the peanuts in her food, she develops allergic responses which leave her struggling to breathe. Virat arrives at the police station, sees her in this condition and through a lot of adversities during which he gets injured, gets her admitted to a hospital. Amruta is released from jail on Medical bail. Jahan Kaur is shown signing a mortgage for her house to pay the 10 lakhs required for the medical bail. During the 100th episode, Abhiraj “Raj” Sharma, Virat’s maternal cousin, makes an entry. With his help, Amruta proves her innocence and gets Tara caught, revealing that she did all the planning with Rajiv. Rajiv denies his involvement and once again, Virat and Dildar are the only ones still skeptical of him.

While Virat blames himself for the harm he has done to Amruta, she is faced with a new problem: Ishika has fraudulently appropriated Jahan Kaur’s house under the name of King Virat Corporation with the help of Jahan’s lawyer and has had them kicked out. Amruta, Jahan, Bhavani and Harsh are devastated to hear that nothing can be done to get back Jahan’s house. Amruta has made up her mind about Virat being behind all of this and confronts him too, regarding the same. After unsuccessful attempts at convincing Amruta of his innocence, he asks his best friend and PA, Shekhar (fondly called, Sheky) to arrange a house for Amruta behind her back. However, Amruta has other plans; she, along with her family and luggage, arrives at the Ahujas’ terrace which she later proves is the society’s property which the Ahujas have forcefully occupied, after the Ahujas call the police on Amruta and her family on the grounds of trespassing. Meanwhile, Raj, proving to be an enemy of his own family, plans to use Amruta to recover the Ahuja’s fortune with the complicity of Kavita, his haughty mother. Soon the two get closer while thanks to Dildar Ji, Amruta and Virat put aside their differences. But unlike the Chitnis, the Ahuja, indignant, are against this budding relationship, especially Virat who is jealous rather than indignant.

At the same time, Babita takes advantage of the proximity of the Chitnis to humiliate them by preparing before their eyes the engagement and then the marriage of Ishika and Jayesh during various events such as Holi. As the marriage moves forward, Bhavani learns to overcome her grief from her daughter and Virat. Her entire family also supports her, with Aaji specifically returning from the village to help her. And just as things seem to be improving for Amruta who finds work abroad, Abhiraj is entrusted by his mother with managing their revenge mission in her absence, which pushes him to make an unlikely pact with Ishika and then Rajvi later, the former not failing to be exposed on her wedding day even if she marries Jay after all. So to take revenge, the young woman makes a video viral of Virat getting closer to Amruta although in reality, the two were trying to escape the goons sent by Abhiraj to eliminate them.

Therefore, Virat is accused of trying to abuse Amruta. Only Bhavani and herself support him, and want to find out who is trying to trap them. So, to spare Virat from jail, Amruta makes up an excuse that they promised each other marriage and even goes so far as to make this lie true by getting married. Secretly, it is revealed that Virat’s mother Babita, jealous of her son’s newfound attention to the Chitnis, is one of the conspirators. When Amruta realizes this, she tries on Bhavani’s advice to expose Babita, only for her to turn the situation around by accusing Amruta of having hit her by car. Babita also accuses Bhavani and Amruta of being responsible for the conspiracy against Virat. Believing this lie, the young man marries Amruta for revenge and by force, promising a nightmarish married life. Soon, Priyanka, the first love of Virat’s life, returns to his life.
