As a single mother, Preesha Srinivasan is raising her nephew, Saransh after her sister, Mahima, dies during childbirth. Saransh is a fan of Rudraksha Khurana, a rockstar who doesn’t believe in love and is detested by Preesha.

Yuvraj fakes being in love with Preesha to be promoted as a judge by Gopal. After finding out that Saransh is Rudraksha’s nephew, Rajeev’s son, Yuvraj, blackmails him for money. On Preesha’s and Yuvraj’s wedding day, Yuvraj leaves the marriage and kills Rajeev, who had learned the truth about Saransh. Preesha takes the blame for the murder because she likes Yuvraj. Yuvraj, who gets the promotion, sentences Preesha to be hanged after being bribed by Rudraksha. After learning that Saransh will get 50 lakhs per month till he reaches 21, as planned by Rajeev, Yuvraj decides to legally adopt Saransh to have a luxurious future by marrying Preesha. Rudraksha takes Yuvraj’s place on their wedding day and marries Preesha to get full custody of Saransh as revenge and his brother’s last wish. Preesha thinks of the well-being of her son and hands Saransh’s full custody to Rudraksha. Preesha is proved innocent with the help of her father and agrees to stay in the Khurana house for Saransh. To stop the child care department from taking Saransh, Rudraksha and Preesha act as a happy couple.

In the presence of faking a romance for the sake of everyone and Saaransh, they begin to have feelings for each other.

Rudraksha apologizes to Preesha in front of both their families and touches her feet. Preesha says they both will trust each other henceforth. Rudra and Preesha go off for their honeymoon to Ooty to start their relationship afresh. Their honeymoon gets interrupted by the return of Mahima, Sarah’s Biological mother.

Preesha confesses her love to Rudra, and they share a kiss at Christmas, whilst the couple works together to expose Mahima. However, Mahima finds out about their plan through Yuvraj and continuously destroys the evidence against her. She switches Rudraksha with a doppelganger, Bhuvan, in the hopes of ruining the Khurana family. She makes Preesha misunderstand that she slept with fake Rudra which breaks Preesha’s heart and she starts hating Rudra.

Balraj learns the truth and is murdered by Mahima and Bhuvan just as the real Rudraksha returns, who is arrested. Preesha then realizes the imposter did not have real Rudraksha’s birthmark. Ahana and Preesha collaborate to expose the doppelganger and Mahima takes over the MD of the Khurana Empire, which she thinks belongs to her. Having succeeded in catching Bhuvan and exposing Mahima, Rudraksha is released while Mahima is arrested.

Rudraksha and Preesha finally seem happy., Both have a possessive moment with each other where Rudra pulls her hair and kisses her saying that nobody will separate them again, and she agrees.

Rudraksha later finds his birth mother, Sulochana, and her son Kabir faking his disability. He brings them to live with them, unaware that the two are after the property papers and Khurana’s wealth after Balraj kicked out Sulochana, having learned she had an affair. Preesha learns the truth about them and unsuccessfully tries to reveal it to Rudra but keeps failing. Meanwhile, Rudra tells Preesha that he wants to have a child with her and that they need to focus on their relationship. He tries to find ways for them to get intimate.

Kabir tricks Ahana into helping them obtain the property by marrying him to receive custody of Saransh. A doctor assists Preesha to expose Kabir’s fake disability to everyone, but Kabir has his goon CC kidnap Rudraksha. Mahima escapes jail with help from one of CC’s men and kidnaps Rudraksha. Preesha goes undercover and saves Rudraksha and Saransh. Mahima is caught but escapes and flees.

The family moves to Goa. Preesha, with Sharda’s support, plots to stop Kabir and Ahana’s marriage. Preesha stops Ahana and Kabir’s marriage and instead getshas Ahana married to marry Yuvraj. Ahana flees to London. Having learned that Yuvraj married Ahana as per Preesha’s plan, Rudraksha becomes upset with her while Mishka and Kabir elope and get married. However, Rudraksha saves Preesha when she drowns in the pool and gives her CPR.

Meanwhile, Mishka and Kabir get custody of Saransh for his trust fund, and Rudraksha– and Preesha gather evidence against them. Kabir and Mishka kidnap Saransh and demand ransom; however, Mishka threatens to blow up herself and Saransh if the police are called. Rudra almost manages to convince her to stop. However, things take a turn when Preesha brings the police, and after having no other choice, Mishka blasts the car in which Saransh is. As a result, Saransh and Mishka are presumed dead, and Rudra blames Preesha for the same as she called the police. She blames him for not trusting her against his mother & brother earlier.

Rudra and Preesha decide to part ways and sign divorce papers, which will require months to legalize. Meanwhile, Rudra promises to never sing again after losing his son, and Preesha, hallucinating seeing a vision of Saransh, almost falls off a cliff but is saved by Armaan Thakur

6 MONTHS LATER

Preesha is living with Armaan and his daughter, Anvi, in Goa. Rudra works as a manager in a hotel in Delhi, where he meets Armaan’s sister, Devika who develops a crush on him. Rudra and Preesha finally meet in Goa. Rudra misunderstands that Preesha is married to Armaan and they have a bitter confrontation at the party where he roughly dances with her. Rudra makes Preesha jealous and proposes to Devika. Preesha gets affected by seeing Rudra and Devika, Rudra keeps questioning her if his touch still affects her and to admit she loves him. Goons attack Preesha, Rudra saves her and Armaan catches them in a compromising position. Rudra and Preesha learn that Mishka is still alive with Ahana. While living together to spy on them, Rudra and Preesha remember old times. Ahaana makes up a story and Rudra and Preesha grieve together. Rudra tells her that he still wants them to be together. Armaan and Devika find out about Rudra and Preesha being married. Devika is found dead. Preesha is arrested and Rudra promises to get her out. At the trial, Preesha gets accused of living with Rudra and having an affair with him, killing Devika out of jealousy.

Rudra saves Preesha and gets his mother Sulochana sentenced. Rudra falls at Preesha’s feet begging for forgiveness. Armaan takes Preesha away to Shimla and spikes her drink to make Rudra misunderstand Preesha. Rudra sets the room on fire and takes Preesha away. Drunk Preesha seduces Rudra. The next morning, he pranks her saying they slept together. Armaan and Rudra fight. Rudra gets critically injured on his birthday. Preesha finally confesses she loves him.
Rudraksha orchestrates a fake wedding with Anvi’s biological mother and Armaan’s wife, Sania to gain information about Saransh. Preesha refuses to believe Rudra moving on. She makes Rudra jealous and seduces him in the men’s bathroom. Preesha hires a Private investigator and finds out who Sania is.

Sania manipulates the situation in a way that Preesha misunderstands Rudra. Preesha asks Armaan to marry her to get Rudra to confess. Rudra arrives to stop the wedding telling Preesha he loves her very much and that their son is alive. She presents Krishna to him and reveals he is Saaransh’s showing him his birthmark.

Ahaana and Mishka get arrested. Rudra and Preesha’s pre-wedding festivities start much to Armaan’s annoyance. Rudra starts getting suspicious of Armaan.

At their sangeet, Rudra sings “will you marry me”, their special song for Preesha which helps Saaransh remember some things.

Rudra and Preesha get married twice, South Indian and Punjabi style. Saransh gets his memory back. Preesha has a grand Graha Pravesh at Khurana house. Armaan sneaks into Khurana‘s house and puts itching powder on their bed. Rudra realizes someone has messed with them but refuses to let their wedding night be spoiled. He takes Preesha to their bathroom, they take a shower together. Rudra openly threatens Armaan saying he knows what he’s doing. Preesha tells Rudra she wants him to be a Rockstar again. Their lawyers tell them they are legal guardians of Saransh and have managed to get all their property. Rudra and Preesha keep fulfilling their fantasies and role play. Rudra keeps getting frustrated as every attempt to get intimate fails. At the press conference, they tell everyone they are happy to be back as a family which makes Anvi jealous. Avni gets a car to run over Saransh but Sharda saves him and gets injured instead.
Mr. Ahuja tells Rudra he has to leave for Shimla for his concert tour. Armaan and Sania arrive posing to be fixing their marriage. Armaan tells Mr. Ahuja to give him a drink that would damage his voice. Rudra has a panic attack when he loses his voice but Preesha figures it out and gives him the medicine he needs. Rudraksha dedicates a special life song to Preesha and performs brilliantly.

Rudra has a massive argument with Armaan who admits he has been messing with them. He asks Rudra to swap wives for one night which infuriates Rudra. Rudra beats him up in front of everyone and Armaan spikes his drink. Rudra arrives in his room highly upset leaving Preesha confused. They both consummate as she tries to calm him down. Armaan tells Sonia to trap Rudra, she calls him to his room saying Armaan is hurting her. Rudra leaves behind a sleeping Preesha. Armaan and Sania set a trap for Rudra. However, Rudra and Preesha end up tricking Armaan and Sania with the help of Mishka and finally get rid of them. Rudra tells Preesha he wants to plan their suhaagraat again since he doesn’t remember it and both come up with plans for it. Preesha wears sexy nightwear and handcuffs him, Rudra books a private suite for them where he sings for her, and Preesha books a hotel where they role-play pretending to be strangers but every plan comically keeps getting interrupted. Rudra and Preesha try to get Mishka and Param, Rudra’s new manager, together. Preesha rejoins her hospital and Rudra helps her out.

Preesha’s brother, Venkatesh “Venky” Srinivasan who was missing for ten years, is found. He had attempted suicide due to a false molestation charge and was secretly hidden by GPS. Preesha is very happy to have him back but Rudra is suspicious of him. Venky tries to sabotage Param and Mishka’s wedding as Mishka was the girl who accused him wrongly. Rudra finds out and warns him. Venky challenges Rudra that Preesha would not believe him. Venky causes differences between Rudra and Preesha but ultimately Rudra exposes him. Preesha apologizes to Rudra and asks him to make love to her, they spend the entire night together getting intimate. The next morning a tragedy hits them as Venky kidnaps Saaransh, Rudra gets into a fight with him and Venky is shot. Preesha takes the blame to save Rudra and gets arrested. She gets sentenced to death as Rudra is unconscious. Yuvraj Pillai helps her escape from jail as she is pregnant and they stage her death to save her child. Rudra is made to believe Preesha is dead in a fire just as he goes to rescue her and sinks into depression.

5 YEARS LATER

Preesha is raising her and Rudraksha’s daughter Ruhi Khurana meanwhile Rudra has lived with Preesha’s memories and has become a cynical alcoholic.

Rudra has to perform at Rohtak where Preesha is hiding with Ruhi, their daughter. Rudra rescues Ruhi who is a great singer like him and they start bonding. Preesha, desperate to see Rudra sneaks into his concert where he catches a glimpse of her before she runs away. He escapes finding her and Ruhi rescues him from the goons. Ruhi hides Rudra at a cottage behind their house and Rudra asks to meet her mom. Rudra and Preesha both have many hits and misses where they both realize the other is around by their touch. Rudra and Ruhi form a lovely bond as Rudra feels very attached to her. Ruhi ends up wanting Rudra as her dad. Bunty finds out Preesha is alive and tells her everything about Rudra trying to find her, she makes him promise not to tell Rudra anything. Yuvraj creates a misunderstanding but Rudra and Preesha end up seeing each other as Rudra rescues Ruhi and himself from fire and falls into Preesha’s arms. Rudra confronts Preesha for hiding from him and she admits she did everything to protect him but he tells her his life is meaningless without her and that he can never let her go. Yuvraj shows up and creates a misunderstanding that Ruhi is his daughter as a result of Preesha cheating on Rudra. Preesha feels pressurised to save Rudra and falls into Yuvraj’s manipulation. Rudra becomes furious at Preesha. Ruhi plans to patch up Rudra and Preesha. The three get stuck in a jungle where they spend quality time as a family. Rudra keeps questioning Preesha. Preesha moves to Delhi with Ruhi, working at Khurana school. Rudra spends time with both of them. Rudra and Preesha work together and find out about a scam Bunty orchestrated in need of money. Bunty puts Preesha and Ruhi’s life in danger and Rudra rescues them. Saaransh is overwhelmed to find out Preesha is alive. Ruhi needs blood which is the same as Rudra‘s rare blood group and Preesha finally tells Rudra that Ruhi is their daughter. Rudra saves Ruhi and is furious with Preesha. He asks cops to arrest her as he reveals she is his wife and still alive. Both Saaransh and Ruhi decide to get Preesha out and teach Rudra a lesson for sending their mother to jail.

Preesha’s case reopens and Saaransh hires Vaijanti as her lawyer. Rudra is still furious at Preesha but indulges the kids who refuse to talk to him. Preesha gets released on bail and they both get stuck overnight at a hotel. Rudra gets chicken pox, and Preesha ties him to the bed against his will. She feeds him, washes him, and takes care of him. The kids bring Preesha back to Khurana‘s house. During her trial, the events of Venky’s murder are finally revealed and Vaijanti is arrested. Rudra finds out Preesha was only trying to save him. They all happily reunite. Rudra and Preesha wait to reveal to Ruhi about Rudra is her dad. Rudra takes Preesha out on a grand date. Dev, a bully at school starts harassing Ruhi and Saaransh. Rudra moves Preesha to their room and they get romantic.

At Holi, Ruhi finds out that Rudraksha is her father, and she makes them promise to never fight again. Yuvraj spikes Preesha’s drink. He tries to film a tape with her however Rudra arrives drunk and Yuvraj ends up watching them get intimate. Rudra decides to teach music at Khurana school to spend more time with Preesha and the kids. Preesha shows Rudra all the childhood tapes of their daughter. Dev keeps harassing the family and his mother, Revati who is also the police commissioner protects him. Yuvraj reveals to Rudra that Preesha knew he was responsible for Rajeev’s murder all these years which causes a fight between Rudra and Preesha after which Yuvraj runs away. Rudra sleeps on the sofa but pretends to be normal in front of the family. Saaransh accidentally pushes Dev off a building while protecting Ruhi, which leads to Dev’s death. Rudra and Preesha panic and decide to hide Dev’s body together to protect their family.

Rudra and Preesha keep having differences while trying to hide Dev’s body. Revati suspects them. Sharda finds out and helps them hide the body to protect their family. Preesha keeps trying to fix problems between her and Rudra, they make each other jealous. Rudra tells her he loves her but cannot forgive her but they keep acting happy in front of the kids. Revati finds Dev’s body and takes the Khurana family under custody for questioning. Rudra gets beaten up and Ruhi confesses everything.

Preesha ends up saving Rudra as she finds out Dev was murdered by Revati’s husband. Ruhi wants Rudra and Preesha to marry again on their wedding anniversary and they reluctantly agree for the kids happy. Revati wants to take revenge on them and keeps sabotaging the wedding functions but it keeps bringing Rudra and Preesha closer. Preesha keeps seducing Rudra and tries to get intimate but he admits it’s only physical attraction and getting intimate won’t fix their problems. Saaransh talks to Rudra who realizes that he must forgive Preesha. Rudra dedicates a song and speech for Preesha on their sangeet and gets electrocuted but Preesha saves him by giving him CPR. They make up and get happily married. Preesha finds out about Revati and plans to expose her.

Revati challenges Preesha who faints and finds out she’s pregnant again. Rudra is ecstatic to find out about having another baby and fulfils all of Preesha’s pregnancy cravings. Revati threatens Preesha she would take her child away. Rudra and Preesha start attending Lamaze classes for Rudra to learn how to take care of a baby. Revati keeps causing problems as Preesha tries to expose her.

Armaan returns and lies to Preesha about being terminally sick. Rudra and Preesha fight about Armaan but they forget about it as they feel their baby kick of the first time. Rudra takes extremely good care of Preesha throughout the whole pregnancy as months pass and they’re very excited to welcome a new baby. On Preesha’s baby shower, she comes up with a plan to lie to revati about the baby dying.

Preesha goes into labour and Rudra stays in the room with her. However Revati and Armaan come up with a plan by poisoning Rudra and Preesha that leads to their newborn son being kidnapped. Rudra and Preesha have a heated fight about loosing their baby which they immediately regret. Before Rudra finds Preesha, Armaan drugs and kidnaps her leaving behind a letter for Rudra.

A YEAR LATER

Rudra is devastated and keeps searching for Preesha. Ruhi takes care of a depressed Rudra while Saaransh is angry at him as he overhead the fight between Rudra and Preesha where Rudra in a moment of anger questioned why Preesha would sacrifice their real son for Saaransh. It is revealed that in Mumbai, Armaan has drugged Preesha making her lose her memory and hypnotised her to believe that Rudra forcefully married her and their marriage was abusive, he tried to kill her.

Preesha gets violent fits every time she hears Rudra’s name. She does not allow anyone to touch her. Rudra and Preesha subconsciously miss each other.

Preesha goes to Delhi for Pihu’s admission in the same college as Raj and Vidyut, Rudra’s cousins. Rudra and Preesha keep having hits and misses. Rudra gets his private investigator to investigate Armaan for Preesha’s disappearance. Ruhi and Saaransh both find Preesha and are upset when she doesn’t recognise them.

They start investigating and Rudra gets suspicious. Rudra and Preesha keep meeting at night at a tea stall but don’t see each other. The children find out about Preesha who feels a connection with Ruhi. Armaan lies to them and says Rudra is responsible for Preesha’s memory loss and she would die if she meets Rudra.

Ruhi does not believe Armaan and plans to unite her parents. Rudra and Preesha finally meet at the police station and Rudra is shocked to see Preesha’s violent behaviour towards him and thrashes Armaan. Ruhi tells Rudra that Preesha doesn’t hate him but has lost her memory. Rudra promises the children that he will bring his wife back home. Rudra follows Preesha to Shimla. Armaan drugs both Rudra and Preesha getting them to share a bed and blames Rudra.

Rudra secretly orchestrates a medial checkup for Preesha and finds out from her brain scan that drugs have affected her brain. Rudra suspects Armaan and with the help of the kids disguises as a old gardener and moves in with Preesha. Rudra and the kids start recreating old memories to help Preesha remember. Preesha let’s Rudra help her with her wardrobe malfunction and does not react violently towards him even when he’s in close proximity.

Rudra manages to swap the medicines and gets Armaan arrested briefly. Pihu finds out the truth about Rudra and Preesha, decides to help unite them. Pihu gets Preesha to attend a party at Khurana house where Rudra sings Will you marry me for Preesha which helps her recollect some memories.

Rudra and Preesha passionately dance and Rudra takes Preesha outside where they share an intimate moment and confess their love to each other before Preesha passes out. Preesha gets really bothered after that encounter and lashes out at Rudra.

Rudra with the family and Pihu’s help makes Preesha believe he has moved on and is marrying Vanshika which makes Preesha jealous. Preesha saves Rudra’s life and Rudra realises Preesha’s old personality is returning.

At one of the ceremonies, Rudra and Preesha get locked up in the bathroom and both end up taking a shower together where Rudra seduces Preesha and almost has her before Armaan walks in on them. Later Rudra reminds Preesha that only he knows about her belly piercing. Rudra and Preesha end up saving each other from a fire. On the wedding day, Rudra recreates his jail wedding with Preesha which helps brings back her memories.

Rudra and Preesha get into an accident on their way to the hospital and Preesha’s memory comes back. Rudra and Preesha reunite on Dusshera and decide to expose Armaan together. Rudra and Preesha finally expose Armaan’s true colours and send him to jail. Rudra and Preesha decide to remarry and celebrate Karavachauth together.

Pihu falls in love with Vidyut, Raj causes trouble between them. Armaan plans to blackmail Preesha using her and Rudraksh’s missing son’s location. On the wedding day, he plans a bomb blast and everyone thinks Rudraksh is dead. Preesha accuses Vidyut for Rudraksh’s death and sends him to jail which shocks Pihu and then Vidyut supposedly dies after being run over by a train which causes Pihu to want to take revenge from Preesha.

3 Months Later

Preesha still lives at Khurana house but her daughter, Ruhi and Sharda hate her for moving Armaan into Khurana house.

Rudra is revealed to be alive. He’s shocked to see his family broken and walks into Khurana house declaring Pihu to be his fiancé as she is pregnant with Vidyut’s child and find out why Preesha is taking care of Armaan.

Preesha is being blackmailed by Armaan in order of exchange of information for Rudra and Preesha’s missing son. Ruhi and Saaransh want to unite their parents. Rudra becomes enraged at Preesha and keeps cornering her.

He seduces her saying that she can never be satisfied with Armaan and knows she’s hiding something. Rudra and Preesha pretend to be a happy family on Ruhi’s sports day and win all the competitions. Ruhi finds out Armaan is faking his act. Rudra and his kids expose Armaan. Preesha confesses she got blackmailed by Armaan for as she wanted to find Rudra and Preesha’s missing son.

Rudra promises they will find their son together and they reunite. Armaan tells them that he’s taken over their entire wealth and throws them out of Khurana house.

Rudra and Preesha struggle to find jobs and feed their kids. Vidyut is revealed to be alive. Ruhi and Saaransh saves Vidyut with the help of Rudra and Preesha from the trap and they reunites both Pihu and Vidyut when she comes to knows about this and they teams up with them to turn against Armaan.

But however the situation gets worsened when Armaan is found dead and Preesha, Digvijay, Gopal gets accused on his murder and gets arrested by police. Rudra, Pihu, Vidyut and the kids decides to find the real murderer and Rudra finds the murderer inside the hotel and the murderer is non another than Revathi itself.

It is revealed that Armaan had contacted Revathi by demanding Rudra and Preesha’s baby but however Revathi comes to knows that Armaan tries to cheating her so she stabs Armaan with a knife and also she deleted the call logs in Armaan’s phone also but however Revathi didn’t deleted Armaan’s call logs in her phone and Revathi accepts her crime and she is sented to prison and Police bails Preesha, Digvijay and Gopal by releasing them.

Rudra and Preesha find a baby and think it’s their missing son, they get disappointed as their search mission keeps failing. Rudra promises to fix everything and gets all his wealth back.

Rudra and Preesha spend quality time with each other as he plans a night out for them. Preesha’s mangalsutra breaks and she worries for them. Rudra then says that even if they both die, their love will remain eternal as they will find each other’s soul in every life time.

Rudra and Preesha spend time with their kids and Revati plans an attack against them. A bomb blast supposedly kills off the entire family.

Rudra and Preesha die holding each other and Rudra says they’ll find each other in the next life as their story will go on as soulmates.

20 YEARS LATER

Nayantara’s mother, Malti Iyer’s is planning Nayantara’s (Preesha’s look alike) wedding day but the wedding gets cancelled. Nayantara is rejected by society for her appearance and way of talking back. The Iyers are financially struggling.

Malti believes there’s a soulmate out there for Nayan who will love Nayan as she deserves. Meanwhile in London, Preesha and Rudraksh’s son, Samrat (Rudra’s look alike) is revealed to be a very famous rockstar. Samrat hates his face since he looks exactly like his father. Revati poisons his mind to believe that Rudraksh and Preesha were very bad people and they killed her family but she still adopted Samrat and made him a rockstar. Samrat is a playboy and doesn’t respect women. Samrat comes to India with Alia and Mohit. Mohit is revealed to be the son of the man that caused the bomb blast for Rudra and Preesha.

Samrat and Nayantara have a funny conversation in the washroom where Samrat asks Nayantara to stop crying but they don’t see each other. Later Nayantara takes up a temporary job as a masseuse at the hotel Samrat’s staying at and he’s her first client.

Samrat looks at Nayantara’s feet and starts flirting with her, asking her to get on top of him. Nayantara gets offended and gives him a very hard massage, later he shows off to her naked in the shower and she tells him off for flirting.

Nayantara see’s his handkerchief and figures out he’s the same guy from the toilet and turns to tell him off, they see each other’s face properly for the first time and seem to have a soulmate connection. Samrat and Nayantara’s family attend a wedding together where both keep bickering. Nayantara accidentally ends up in Samrat’s room where he’s waiting for a girl without clothes and he misbehaves with Nayantara asking her to sleep with him and she slaps him, questioning his upbringing. Samrat gets drunk and drives to Khurana house and falls into the trash can where Nayantara rescues him.

Both have a heart to heart conversation about their loneliness and an inebriated Samrat calls Nayantara beautiful explaining the meaning of her name. Later at the cocktail party Samrat thanks Nayantara for saving him. Samrat and Nayantara develop a friendship. Samrat helps a drunk Nayantara and tells her if he had his way she would be his ‘Monday to Friday’ girl too and tells her that he finds her attractive. After the wedding both sadly realise they need to part ways, Samrat buys a pair of glasses for Nayantara.

Mohit and Alia break up due to Ishaani. Alia tells Samrat that Nayan stole Mohit from her and Samrat misunderstands Nayantara. Samrat burns Nayantara’s house and spies on Mohit. In a twist of events, Samrat takes the place of Nayantara’s groom and marries her. Nayantara lies to protect Ishaani and they both pretend to be a happy couple in love in front of the family. Samrat moves into Khurana house with Nayantara and her family. Revati returns to India and insults them.

Samrat gifts Nayantara a mini dress on their wedding night and forces her to wear it. He intimidates her asking her to fulfill all his dark fantasies, he handcuffs her and pins her to the wall shooting knives at her. He ends up stripping her but turns his face away. Nayantara takes revenge by cutting his hair off and threatening to expose him on social media. Nayantara plans to run away with her family. Samrat spies on her and takes her along with him to work.

He harasses her by making her work for him and give him massages and later on beats up his colleague for being inappropriate with her. Samrat tells Nayantara she’s his wife and his possession, no one else can touch her. Samrat stops Nayantara from escaping and locks her up with him at night watching her sleep. Nayantara manages to get Ishaani and Mohit married and Samrat finds out the truth.

Nayantara leaves Khurana house with her family and blames Samrat for hurting Ishaani. Nayantara gets Samrat arrested and he seeks revenge from her. Revati plans to create misunderstandings between Samrat and Nayantara. Alia fakes paralysis and Samrat blackmails Mohit to marry Alia. At the wedding, Nayan does a bride swap replacing Alia with Ishaani and then later herself. Samrat finds out and orchestrates a groom swap, Samrat and Nayan get married again.

Samrat tells Nayantara now she has to live with him as his legal wife and announces their marriage front of the media and how much he loves her. Nayantara plans to leave as soon as Ishaani and Mohit get married again. Mansi, Samrat’s ex enters trying to frame Samrat with a child, Prem, that she claims is Samrat’s. Nayan takes a liking to Prem and tells Samrat that she will divorce him if he gives Prem’s custody to her. Mansi and her fiancé, Raghav who is Samrat’s rival invite him to their wedding. Samrat plans a makeover for Nayan and both attend the party together.

Nayantara grabs attention and wins everyone’s heart, Samrat and Nayantara come close at the wedding and understand each other better. Samrat cries in Nayantara’s arms whole night for being abandoned as she puts him to sleep and promises to help him get rid of his darkness. Samrat and Nayantara are asked to live together for six months by the court. Samrat tries to make it hard for them but Nayantara moves into Samrat’s room. Samrat finds out about Revati attempting to murder Mohit, Ishaani and Malti and confronts her. Revati gets arrested but runs away, she asks Alia to take revenge from Samrat and Nayan. Samrat moves Nayan’s family to Khurana house. The kids lock up Samrat and Nayan in a car and Samrat ends up giving CPR to Nayan and saves her life.

Samrat hurts himself and Nayan helps him recover and takes care of him. Malti plans a Shanti Pooja in the house and Samrat takes a stand for Nayan and proudly declares her as his wife. Samrat is forced to sing at Mansi and Raghav’s wedding where a scandal happens and Raghav is found sleeping with ishani. Nayan slaps Raghav. Samrat is furious to find out Raghav planned to trap Nayan instead and Nayan calms him down questioning why he cares.

Mansi and Alia join hands to separate Samrat and Nayantara. Mansi fakes an accident and shows up at Khurana house for shelter, Nayan convinces Samrat to help her out. Mansi upsets Nayan by telling her that on her Sangeet, she kissed Samrat. Nayan gets furious at Samrat and tears his shirt, she later burns his breakfast. Samrat gets upset and Nayan ignoring him and confronts her, he clarifies that mansi is lying and that he’s surprised that Nayan is jealous, he laughs at Nayan denying her jealousy.

Samrat finally gets Raghav arrested and Nayan tells Samrat that she will always help him which makes him happy. Samrat plans a birthday surprise for Nayan that mansi tried to spoil by making him late. Samrat pacifies a furious Nayan and carries her to their terrace where he plans a romantic date for them. Samrat and Nayan have a great time and Nayan is high to touched by all of Samrat’s surprises. Nayan starts doubting Mansi but gets upset when Samrat does not believe her. Samrat fakes to not believe Mansi because he’s already figured out.

Mansi has a plan and wants to expose her to get rid of Mansi for good. Nayan falls into the water tank and Samrat rescues her. Nayan tells Samrat it was mansi that pushed her but Samrat pretends to not believe her which upsets Nayan.

At Holi, Nayan is angry at Samrat but he dances with her and makes sure they apply colour on each other first. Samrat finds out Alia has been helping mansi and plans a fake tax raid to expose mansi. Samrat hugs Nayan and thanks her for bringing calmness and stability in his life. Mansi fakes a miscarriage and blackmails Samrat that she will get Nayan arrested so Samrat has to break Nayan’s heart and say that he still loves Mansi and brings her back to their home.

Nayan finds our Mansi was never pregnant so Mansi gets Nayan kidnapped. Samrat risks his life and ends up saving Nayan from a bomb. Mansi starts blackmailing Nayan using a video of Alia in a compromising position so Nayan has to leave Samrat’s room. Samrat passionately corners Nayan and asks her why she’s become cold to him when he could feel how much they deeply care for each other. Samrat drinks whole night and the family figures out he’s fallen in love with Nayan. They all make a plan to get rid of Mansi.

Samrat and Nayan tell each other how Mansi has been blackmailing them both and they finally get Mansi arrested.

Samrat realises he has feelings for Nayan when he asks her to move back in his room with him and the family helps him in confessing his feelings to Nayan. Samrat ends up getting cold feet last minute and starts writing anonymous poetry for her.
