Imlie On Starlife, Friday 28th October 2022 update

Malini shows her office to Imlie. Her colleague lecturer takes her aside to discuss lecture, and she leaves asking Imlie to stay there. Students laugh looking at Imlie. Imlie feels nervous and thinks if there is dust on her face. She reminisces family’s suggestion not to get nervous and be confident and cool. She introduces herself as Imlie from Pagdandiya.

Student jokes that if she is Imlie/tamarind, she should be in kitchen. Another student jokes that she must be searching her friends adrak/ginger, mirchi/chilli, etc., to prepare chutney. They feel awkward seeing a poor village student in their college. Imlie gives them back that she has seen a practical world and not like them who just stay in AC, her language may be different from them, she came 2nd in state and is a scholarship student, etc. A student chokes eating something. She punches him in his back and he spits it out. Another student asks what was it. They both stop her again, Bindiya asks her to let Satyakam return and find out truth, she should support Imlie, etc.

Tripathi family discuss what gift they should give to Imlie. Nidhi suggests they should gift mobile to Imlie. Taiji backs her. Tauji jokes. All family members agree for mobile and wait for Imlie and Malini to return. Malini enters scolding Imlie for disobeying her and says her college students will rag her repeatedly, she was protecting her, etc. Nishant asks her to relax as Imlie must have done a mistake unknowingly. Malini angrily warns Imlie that she doesn’t want to see sindhoor in her hairline again and throws away sindhoor bottle. Imlie picks sindhoor from ground. Adi returns from job and tells Malini that he wouldn’t have seen her this form if he had come late. Malini says that is good as she is seeing his changed form each day. He says she should be angry on him and not Imlie. She says her anger is valid. He says she should react on him and not Imlie and he is seeing his mother in her, he tolerates Anu in her house but cannot tolerate her in his house. Aparna asks him to stop. He says he is not wrong this time. Malini asks without knowing why and what she did, he is alleging his wife’s nature for a random girl and is worried for an outsider. He shouts she is misunderstanding him. She walks away. Pankaj asks Adi what is all this, he should go and apologize Malini and end this issue right now. Aparna also insists. Adi leaves. Imlie stands crying. Family feels bad for her and console her one by one. Imlie thinks she spoilt this family’s peace and cannot do it anymore. Adi walks to Malini and asks what was that. Malini asks if he cannot see Imlie’s mistake, she disobeyed her even after her warning. He says she is not Imlie’s mother to obey all her orders. She says she felt she was her elder sister, how was Adi related to her when he used to insult Imlie before, what changed now that he is supporting her. He shouts not to drag Imlie in this, when he realized his mistake, he apologized Adi. She asks how can a whole person change with apology, even she will apologize Imlie then.

Imlie cries sitting in a corner reminiscing Malini’s words and thinks she didn’t want to interfere between Adi and Malini. Family brings food for her and insist to have it soon. She says she is having stomachache and cannot have food. Aparna says her heart is aching, she shouldn’t bother Malini’s words as she is good at heart and didn’t mean that. Nishant back Aparna. Pankaj says its not Imlie’s mistake, she was just at a wrong place at a wrong time; Adi and Malini were fighting and it increased with Imlie’s interference. Nishant thinks if its that simple issue like family thinks and reminisces Adi telling that villagers forcefully.. Pankaj and Tauji insist Imlie to have food or else even they will not. Malini enters and says even Adi will not have food if Imlie doesn’t. Adi walks to her and asks waht is she doing now. Malini say trying to correct her mistake and asking Imlie to keep even her sindhoor and forcefully gives her sindhoor to her. Aparna asks what is she doing. Malini tells Imlie that she can roam opening applying sindhoor on her hairline. She confronts Adi if he is happy insulting his wife in front of a servant. Adi shouts why she is behaving like Anu, she doesn’t have any right.

She asks then what right she has. He says one who is mannerless doesn’t have any right. Nishant warns Adi that he is crossing his limits. Adi says Malini is crossing her limits and is behaving like Anu. Aparna asks Malnii to calm down and end this issue right here. Malini asks why should she as she is not at mistake. Adi shouts again. Imlie asks them to stop their fighting and tells Malini that she is dumb that she cannot understand society rule, she should punish her instead of family, she begs her to forgive her; this is her sasural and a bahu should be respected more than a servant; she got respect in this house and didn’t misuse it; she doesn’t need anything, especially Malini’s sindhoor and will do whatever she asks. She continues her drama and mimics a cock. Malini stops her and says she thought her younger sister is innocent, but she is not; so she can do whatever she wants to. She confronts Adi that he married her and brought her to his house, but now he is disrepecting often. She waks away. Nishant requests Adi to go and apologize Malini. Adi walks away saying he will not go to that room again. Nishant thinks whatever happened today never happened in this house before, if Malini’s anger is of today and there is something more to it.

Adi sleeps on sofa and reminisces Malini fighting with him. He walks to Imlie and wishes her good morning. Imlie asks him to go as he shouldn’t be here. He asks her not to make a foolish decision of running away from home as she will not gain anything from here. She says he cannot see all this. He says he shouldn’t have brought her here from hostel. She says she is talking about Malini. He says he is not fulfilling his husband’s duty towards Malini and do justice to both, so he will tell truth to Malini today. She asks not to do that and give pain to whole family.

He says supporting truth is not wrong. She asks if breaking 7-year-old relationship is right. He says he will be considered wrong by Malini, her family, and his famlly, but he will not be a liar again and will become one who used to support truth; he knows everyone will feel bad with his truth for sometime, but everything will be alright over time. She says she wants everyone to be happy and blames herself for all the problems. He says its not her or Malini’s mistake, but his mistake and he wants to correct it today itself.

Malini over phone tells Anu that she is feeling bad for her misbehavior, but Adi forced her to misbehave; she should have taken a stance long back. Adi with Imlie walks in and says he needs to talk. She asks to go ahead. Imlie asks why she has packed her bag. Malini says she is going back to her home after what happened last night. Imlie says she cnanot go like this.

Malini tells Adi that she thinks they need a break. He says she is right that that they should live separately for some time. She thinks she was wrongly hoping that he would feel bad hearing that and will stop her, but he proved that he never loved her.
