Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 40
Unlocking the chains, Eghosa brought Nicole out of the car and went into the church. It was crowded and the program had already started. He was lucky to get two chairs. Nicole sat by him so quiet and this distracted him a little. So many thoughts ran through him. Maybe Obiora lied. Maybe he did something to Nicole. His mind returned to the program, for Pst Emmanuel was still preaching.
“God is set to cause deliverance. It does not matter the affliction, God will deal with it. The miracle worker is here to set you free from every captivity. He is here to heal that broken heart. Cry no more ”
He rounded up the preaching and handed the microphone to his wife Ayomide to lead the prayer session. Everyone knows how prayerful Ayomide is.
The congregation were already up for the prayers. As she sang worship songs, people began to cry and roll on the ground. Some raised their hands in worship and total surrender to God. People holding pictures of those they want God to touch, could be seen.
As Ayomide went deeper into God’s presence, healing and miracles began to take place. She began to release prayer points upon prayer points.
“It doesn’t matter where you are seated, God is going to touch you. The angels of God are touching your body right now. You can’t leave here the same way you came”
While the prayer session was on, God opened Ayomide’s eyes and saw Eghosa before an altar of the Lord weeping profusely. Therefore Ayomide moved into the crowded congregation trying to locate him. When he saw Eghosa, he told him to follow her and he did.
“There is a cry in your heart that your words cannot express”
Eghosa nodded.
“Alright, God is telling me that you came with someone whom you want Him to heal”
Eghosa shouted. “That is true!”
“Where is she?”
“She is there”.He said pointing
“Bring her here”
Eghosa rushed back to his seat but didn’t find Nicole. Perplexed, he turned and saw her walking towards the door. He ran and caught her. It was as if Nicole had woken from her slumber, she jumped on Eghosa and attacked him. Some of the men who saw what was happening, rushed and assisted him. Nicole was carried to the altar.
Ayomide looked at Nicole and asked the church to pray for mercy upon her and the church began to pray. Suddenly, the Holy Spirit ministered to her.
” Concentrate your prayers on the source of the madness”
“I rebuke you spirit of insanity” Cried Ayomide.
Somewhere in Pastor Smart’s shrine, he felt a jolt.
He looked around and he felt a strangeness in the atmosphere. Pst Smart went to his mirror and saw a woman cladded in white apparel praying for Nicole.
He was covered in total rage. He was mute when Nosa was delivered, but he was not going to let Nicole go free. Within minutes, he appeared at the scene of deliverance.
“Who are you?” He shouted at Ayomide. “This prey cannot be taken away from me”
The members at the front, seeing what was happening ran back. They stood at a distance, some praying with eyes closed, while some watched . Pastor Emmanuel left his seat and joined his wife Ayomide. Eghosa didn’t run. He stood behind Nicole praying.
“My name is Ayomide. I am a battle axe of the Lord. I command the spell of insanity over her to be broken now, in the name of Jesus”
“It’s not happening.
AYOMIDE shouted the bible says in Isaiah 49:24-26 shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the Lord, even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine; and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob”
Oya in the name of Jesus, I command fire to consume you now. CATCH
Fire erupted from nowhere and hit Pst Smart. It hurled him and smashed him against the walls of the church and he yelled. Quickly, he began to mutter something.
“It is ignorance that makes the cockroach invite the hen to a fight. You don’t test the depth of a river with both feet. No matter how long or stout the human neck is, on top it must always sit a head. You have incurred the wrath of the devil. In the devil’s own name I unleash all the demons of hell against you. Die I command you”
As he conjured and stretched his hands, darkness appeared and a strange arrow was released.
Ayomide quoted “Isaiah 7:7 says, Thus says the Lord, it shall not stand neither shall it come to pass. You wicked soul, No weapon fashioned against me or anyone here shall prosper. The bible says, we shall decree a thing and it shall be established. I decree fire, thunder and lightening upon you, in the name of Jesus”
Instantly there was thunder, fire and lightning all over the place. The forces of darkness and all the released demons started scampering. Pst Smart was huddled up in a corner after he was hit by lightning. He could not stand the onslaught and he disappeared.
Immediately, the curse of insanity over Nicole was broken. She regained her sanity.
Pst Smart appeared in his shrine paralyzed. His mirror was smashed to pieces and all his pots broken. In an attempt to call for demonic assistance, fire from nowhere engulfed the shrine and Pastor Smart was consumed.

Osadebamwen returned home to see for herself that her father had returned home. She hugged him that Nosa began to shed tears of joy. Since he got his sanity back, he was expecting his wife to unleash her anger on him, but she didn’t. Infact, she showered him with so much love.
Itohan had told him how God used Iya Folake to help her and he had gone to thank the woman and her son. Try as he may, he could not recollect how he ended up mad. He only remembered how Uyi exposed his secret and how he had asked for Itohan’s forgiveness. Any other thing or event were not in his memory. He could not believe he sent his family out of the house or even moved over to Nicole’s.
“Well all that is over now. I learnt my lesson in a hard way. If not for the mercy of God”
When Osas had settled down, Nosa apologized to his wife and children for putting them through tough situations.
“I knew I was playing with fire, but i still went ahead. But my lessons were learnt in a hard way”
“Thank God sey Jesus save you”
