The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), on Thursday, announced the names of the three final nominees shortlisted for the 2022–23 UEFA Men’s Player of the Year Awards.
UEFA made the announcement through their official website.
The three nominees are Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi and Manchester City duo Erling Haaland and Kevin de Bruyne.
The award winner will be announced at the 2023–24 UEFA Champions League group stage draw ceremony, which will take place on Thursday, August 31, at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.
Messi, Haaland, and De Bruyne were exceptional during the 2022–23 campaign.
