Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo is full of excitement after scoring his first goal of the season for Turkish Super Lig club, Kasimpasa.
The centre-back was on target in Kasimpasa’s 2-1 defeat to Istanbul rivals, Galatasaray on Friday night.
Cote d’Ivoire forward, Wilfred Zaha gave Galatasaray a two-goal lead before Omeruo reduced the deficit in the 54th minute.
The 30-year-old rose high to power home a header from a corner kick.
The visitors were, however, unable to equalise despite putting up a good fight for the remainder of the game.
“What a game tonight.. we deserved more.. so happy with my first goal of the season, and also proud of this team @kasimpasask we keep going.. 💪🏾💪🏾,” Omeruo wrote on his Facebook page.
The defender rejoined Kasimpasa for a third spell this summer from Spanish Segunda División club CD Leganes.
