Portuguese Primeiria Liga club, FC Arouca have announced the signing of Nigerian winger, Yusuf Lawal.
Lawal joined Arouca from Azerbaijani outfit, Neftci PFK.
A product of local side, 36 Lions, Lawal started his European sojourn with Belgian club, Lokeren in 2017.
The 24-year-old spent three years at Lokeren before moving to Neftci PFK.
The pacy winger made 88 appearances across all competitions for Neftci PFK scoring six goals and and registering 19 assists.
“I chose FC Arouca because it’s a beautiful club, with a very close connection with the fans,” Lawal told the club’s official website.
“I want to help the team to achieve the best ranking possible. I will do my best and fight with the team.”
Arouca currently occupy sixth position on the table with 26 points from 17 matches.
