Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappé, has decided to join Real Madrid this summer, when his contract with the Ligue 1 side expires, ESPN reports.
The 25-year-old is expected to announce his decision next week.
However, given Mbappé’s previous U-turn in 2022, there is always the possibility that he could change his mind until the contract is actually signed by both parties.
It is understood that PSG offered Mbappé a pay rise on his €72 million gross salary but their offer was turned down by the France international.
By choosing to leave as a free agent, Mbappé will be letting go of bonuses of up to €100 million.
His wages at Madrid are expected to be half of what he currently earns at PSG.
