Al-Nassr on Thursday officially completed the signing of Aymeric Laporte from Manchester City for a £23.6 million fee.
The Saudi Pro League club disclosed this in a post via its X (formerly Twitter) account.
“The Aymeric’s signature, Yes, He is Laporte,” Al Nassr tweeted alongside a video of Laporte wearing the club’s jersey.
Laporte’s move to Al-Nassr means the 29-year-old will now join the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane at the Saudi club.
The defender struggled for minutes at Manchester City last season under manager Pep Guardiola.
He made just 12 Premier League appearances and was not included in the squad for last Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Newcastle United.
