Bundesliga club, Eintracht Frankfurt have submitted a bid to KAA Gent for forward, Gift Orban, according to German news outlet, Kicker.
Eintracht Frankfurt, who once had former Super Eagles captain, Austine Jay Jay Okocha in their ranks, are eager to sign Orban when the transfer window reopens in January 2024.
The 22-year-old is valued at around €20m by Transfermarkt but Gent are expected to demand more for the player.
The Buffalos reportedly rejected a €25m bid for the Nigerian in January.
Orban stirred controversy last weekend
when he accused Gent of trying to destroy his career because of lack of game time.
The striker has also been frustrated after he did not make the big transfer in the summer as widely expected.
He joined Gent from Norwegian second division club, Staebek in January.
