Nigeria forward, Umar Sadiq has failed to rule out the possibility of him leaving LaLiga’s new boys, Almeria this summer.
Sadiq scored 18 goals and recorded 12 assists to help the Rojiblancos gain promotion from the Spanish Segunda Division last season.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a move to Portuguese giants, Benfica as a replacement for Uruguayan striker, Darwin Nunez, who recently linked up with Premier League club, Liverpool.
“Well, in the future, we will never know, but I know that the best of me is yet to come; I know that I can give even more,”
Sadiq told La vox de Almeria.
Sadiq also reflected on his season at Almeria and revealed the secret behind his success.
“My secret of the season at AlmerĂa is dedication, work, always believing in myself, and always trying to make an effort, and with the help of my teammates, we have achieved promotion, and it has been a great season,” he added.
