Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze has said they respect Sao Tome and Principe, but are looking to record another big win against them.
Both sides met in the reverse fixture in June 2022, when Nigeria won 10-0.
Ahead of the game on Sunday, Jose Peseiro’s side are overwhelming favourites to claim victory at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
And Chukwueze wants the Eagles to round off their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign in style.
“We defeated them 10-0 the last time we met and it will be nice to go higher than that this time around.
“But in football, you have to respect your opponent as well. They won’t want a repeat of the first leg result and will give us a good fight.
For us, it is important to make the fans happy. They will be looking forward to another big win and we can’t afford to disappoint them,” Chukwueze told Complete Sports.
