Rangers manager, Abdullahi Maikaba has said the ability of his players to keep to game plan gave them a platform for victory in the Federation Cup quater-final.
The Coal City outfit defeated an impressive Doma United side 1-0 at the Ondo Sports Complex, Akure, on Sunday to secure a place in the semi-final.
An 80th minute strike from Chidiebere Nwobodo maintained Rangers chase for a seventh Federation Cup title.
Maikaba boasted that with this victory Rangers are ready to face any opponent.
“We stuck to our game plan which gave us the desired victory and a ticket to the semi-finals of the competition,” an elated Maikaba told the club’s media.
“It was a good game against a determined and difficult opponent but we shall continue to build on the newfound form of the team and work towards being crowned the Federation Cup champions for this year.
“We are prepared to face any side and fear no foe but respect every team.”
Rangers will take on Plateau United in the semi-final.
