Doma United head coach, Akinade Onigbinde has lavished praise on his players following Sunday’s 2-1 win against Niger Tornadoes.
Usman Musa put the Savannah Tigers into lead from the spot on 28 minutes.
Niger Tornsdoes rallied back with Mark Daniel nodding home from a corner two minutes after the break.
Charles Chibuike headed in the winning goal on 75th minute, his second goal of the season.
The Savannah Tigers moved to third position on the Group B table following the win.
“I feel very great. The boys played well. They are good, wonderful and ready players. We are one ahead, came back and got the final winning,” Akinade told the club’s official website.
“We thank God for the success. It is a great one. We will keep working hard until we get there. Top six is our aim and we will get there”.
Doma United will face Dakkada in their next NPFL game in Uyo this weekend.
