Former Manchester United captain, Gary Neville has hinted that current manager Erik ten Hag will soon get the sack.
Neville, writing on X, claimed there is a similar precedence with managers at Old Trafford.
United were eliminated from the Carabao Cup thanks to a 3-0 defeat at home to Newcastle on Wednesday night.
The loss came just three days after Manchester City thrashed the Red Devils by the same scoreline.
Ten Hag has now overseen United’s worst start to a season since the 1962-63 campaign.
Neville wrote: “Last night we saw the Theatre of Dreams turn into the Theatre of Nothing. Every single United fan bored and flat.
“On the pitch the players were in shock, the performances woeful and a manager struggling in front of our eyes.
“We’ve seen it before, we know how it ends and we’ve had enough.”
The Dutchman is United’s fifth permanent manager since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.
