Former Manchester United defender, Gary Pallister has criticised some of Bruno Fernandes’ antics in recent games for the Red Devils.
Pallister, who hailed the Portugal international for being a shining light for the club, said the former Sporting midfielder needs to check his attitude.
The Portugal international has been a key player at Old Trafford since joining from Sporting in January 2020, already scoring 60 goals for the club.
However, the Portugal international does come in for criticism sometimes, often for simulation or how he approaches match officials.
During Manchester United’s 7-0 defeat to Liverpool last month, the midfielder went down clutching his face when Ibrahima Konate’s arm only made contact with his chest and also appeared to have pushed the linesman in the same game.
“What happened the other week when he kind of pushed the linesman…” Pallister told AceOdds.com.
“In the same game, I think he feigned injury to his face when he got caught in the chest. You don’t like to see that.
I don’t think it looks good when it’s seen on camera. And your captain, so it’s easy to sit here and be negative about what he’s done. It doesn’t look good. I’m sure he’s looking to address that.”
