Manchester City have reportedly identified Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Fabian Ruiz as a potential replacement for Ilkay Gundogan.
According to Don Balon (via El Nacional), Ruiz is on Manchester City’s radar as Pep Guardiola’s side search for a replacement for Gundogan.
Gundogan looks set to leave the Etihad Stadium when his contract expires in June.
Ruiz, on the other hand, arrived at PSG from Napoli last summer for €23million and the 27-year-old was regarded as an excellent ball-playing midfielder.
However, the Spaniard has struggled to earn a consistent starting place in Christophe Galtier’s PSG lineup this season.
Ruiz has scored three goals and contributed as many assists in 37 appearances across competitions for PSG and a move for him this summer could cost Man City around €30 million.
