Chelsea are reportedly keeping tabs on former Barcelona manager, Luis Enrique amid pressure on current head coach Graham Potter at Stamford Bridge.
According to Fichajes, Chelsea could make a move for Enrique if they choose to replace Potter.
The report added that Chelsea have ‘meddled strongly’ with the idea of making a move for the Spaniard following Potter’s poor performance so far this season.
Despite the money spent by Chelsea since co-owner, Todd Boehly took over the west London club, results have not improved under Potter.
Enrique could be managing the likes of big-money signings Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk soon.
The former Spain coach has been out of a job since the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where his side crashed out in a penalty shootout defeat against Morocco in the knock-out stages.
A move to Chelsea would signal a return to club football for the 52-year-old for the first time since 2017 – when he was managing Barcelona.
