Fulham manager, Marco Silva has described Calvin Bassey’s red card in his side’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal a joke.
Bassey was first booked for time wasting five minutes after the break.
The centre-back was sent off seven minutes from time for a foul on Eddie Nketiah.
Silva cut a frustrated figure after the game as he struggled to come to terms with the decision of the centre referee.
“The first yellow card for Calvin is a joke, and of course we understand the new circumstances (rules),” the gaffer told a press conference.
“They are taking all the emotion from the game because it is going to protect the big clubs because you have to see consistency in the decisions.”
