AFL: Enyimba can beat Wydad in Casablanca – Ekwutoziam

Enyimba forward, Eze Ekwutoziam insists the People’s Elephant can overturn the first leg deficit against Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco.

The Nigerian champions lost 1-0 at home to the Red Castle at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Sunday.

Finidi George’s men will be up against Adil Ramzi’s side in the reverse fixture at the Mohammed V Stadium, Casablanca on Saturday.

Enyimba will need to score two goals without conceding to secure a place in the semi-finals.

Ekwutoziam reckoned that the task was achievable.

“There’s nothing much, that’s football. If they can do it here, we can do it over there,” he told the club’s official website.

The winner of the tie will face either Esperance of Tunisia or TP Mazembe in the semi-final.
