Eight persons have been abducted by bandits who invaded two local government areas of Kaduna State.
The gunmen invaded Autan Kuli village in Yakawada ward of Giwa Local Government Area and abducted six people.
A resident of the area told the publication;
âThe bandits invaded the village around 2pm Thursday, shooting sporadically in the air.
âThey however succeeded in abducting six people: Usman mai Unguwa, Mashakuru Audu, Umma Nasiru, Hauwa Nasiru, Jamilu umar, and Sunusi Bashari.â
Two people were also abducted in Hayin Mallam, Jamaâa ward of the neighbouring Sabon Gari Local Government Area on Wednesday, October 26.
A vigilante source said;
âAround 11.30pm Wednesday, kidnappers broke into a house on Shaka Street and kidnapped two people.
âThose kidnapped were Musa Omeza and Fatima Hassan after sporadic shots.
âAfter the incident, members of the vigilantee group went for a rescue mission but could not find the bandits.â
