Xiaomi Poco M4 5G is more or less like a less premium variant of the Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro 5G. The major trade-off is that it offers a less powerful chipset, swapping out the Dimensity 810 in the Pro Edition for Dimensity 700. Xiaomi Poco M4 5G sports a 6.58-inch display, a 50MP dual rear camera, an 8MP front camera, and a 5000 mAh battery.

Design, Display, and Cameras

Xiaomi Poco M4 5G features a plastic body in Gray, Silver, and Blue with the front protected in Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The 6.58-inch IPS display offers a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. A V-notch is centrally located on the top of the screen housing the 8 megapixels front camera for taking selfies.

On the back, you get two cameras, a 50 megapixels wide angle lens with f/1.8 aperture and a 2 megapixels lens. Both the front and rear cameras support 1080p Full HD video recording.

Hardware and Software

Xiaomi Poco M4 5G is powered by a MediaTek MT6833 Dimensity 700 (7 nm) octa-core chipset. This is the same chipset available in the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G and Galaxy M13 5G.

The chipset is built on a dual-core architecture having a dual-core Cortex-A76 and a hexa-core Cortex-A55 clocked at 2.4GHz and 2.0GHz respectively. You get a 64GB model with 4GB RAM and a 128GB model with 6GB RAM.

The Xiaomi phone sports a 5000 mAh battery to give you the juice you need for the days job. Charging is also fast with support for 18W fast charging.

This Xiaomi Poco phone runs Android 12 with MIUI 13 out of the box.

Connectivity

The smartphone features a USB type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth and WiFi. This affordable android phone support 5G and 4G LTE on both SIM slots.
