I Remain Edo Authentic Deputy Governor — Omobayo

Engr. Marvellous Godwins Omobayo has insisted that he is the authentic deputy governor of Edo State.

Recall that Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja reinstated Philip Shaibu as the Deputy Governor of Edo State, months after he was impeached by the state assembly.

Omobayo stated that he still performs his official duties as guaranteed by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He made this known during this during a solidarity visit by the leadership and members of the three recognized transport unions in Edo State.

The unions are National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW; Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, RTEAN, and Edo State Drivers Welfare Scheme.
