Daryl Dixon meets new enemies and allies as he navigates zombie-infected France. AMC shared a new clip for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, highlighting Clémence Poésy’s character as a mystifying nun named Isabelle.
The upcoming The Walking Dead spin-off, which will premiere on September 10, will follow the titular lead (played by Norman Reedus) as he tries to figure out why he got into the country in the first place. To shed light on the franchise’s newest character, the French actress shares that her character, Isabelle, is a nun on a mission.
“She’s part of the resistance network called ‘The Union of Hope,’ bringing in people from lots of different faiths,” Poésy said in the newly released clip.

While the actress boasts an impressive acting portfolio under her belt, most fans — especially Potterheads — will recognize Poésy as Beauxbatons’ Fleur Delacour in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and the two Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows installments. Her other acting credits include Tenet, Resistance, Mr. Morgan’s Last Love, Gossip Girl, and The Essex Serpent, among others.
The upcoming television series will track Daryl’s “journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home.” However, all the connections he formed along his journey will mess up his plans.
Alongside Poésy as a nun with a dark past, the spin-off will also star Anne Charrier as Genet, Paloma (Hugo Bardin) as Coco, Adam Nagaitis as Quinn, Romain Levi as Codron, Eriq Ebouaney as Fallou, and Laika Blanc Francard as Sylvie.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon hits AMC+ and AMC on September 10.
