ComingSoon is excited to exclusively debut the The Activated Man posters for the upcoming horror thriller movie, The film will arrive in theaters and on VOD later this year.
It will be screened on September 20 as part of the Tony Curtis International Film Festival in Mátészalka, Hungary, and then the Glendale International Film Festival on September 27, the Cinema Scares Film Festival in Shelbyville, Indiana, on September 28, and the HorrOrigins Film Festival in Tucson, Arizona on September 29. Following that will be screenings at Hollywood Horrorfest, Atlanta Horror Film Festival, Sleepy Hollow International Film Festival, Twin Cities Film Fest, Birmingham Horror Film Festival, and the Menton Fantastic Film Festival in southern France.
“As Ors Gabriel struggles with the grief from losing his best friend and beloved dog to cancer, the trauma brings on strange visions only Ors can see,” reads the official synopsis. “While he questions whether his mind has fractured or if it’s actually real, a mysterious rise in murder-suicides takes hold of the city, and Ors becomes haunted by images of a shadowy figure known as ‘The Fedora Man’. Through torments and terror, Ors must face his fears and confront ‘The Fedora Man’ as he uncovers dark secrets from his past, while finally embracing who he really is, and what he is meant to do.”

The official posters feature the horror movie’s main cast, including horror legends Tony Todd (Candyman) and Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th franchise), alongside Jamie Costa (The Beech Boys), Andrew Keegan (10 Things I Hate About You), Sab Shimono (The Shadow), Vladimir Kulich (Vikings), and Sean Young (Blade Runner). Additional cast includes Ivana Rojas, Scott Brown, Bryce Adam Brown, Takayo Fischer, Mike Rad, and more.
The Activated Man is written and directed by Nicholas Gyeney, who is also producing with Kelsey Aho. It is executive produced by Mirror Images LTD. Following its world premiere last year at the Dances With Films NYC, the film went on to earn multiple awards at film festivals.
