In just a few weeks, survival horror fans can revisit the haunted streets and hallways of Silent Hill. The newest Silent Hill 2 trailer focuses on the remake’s story and its cast
The new Silent Hill 2 story trailer uses a conversation between protagonist James Sunderland and Maria, a woman who bears a striking resemblance to his late wife Mary. She also knows quite a bit about the couple, discussing a video tape recorded they recorded at a hotel. The trailer finishes with Maria saying, “It doesn’t matter who I am. I am here for you, James. See, I’m real.”
The Silent Hill 2 story trailer also shows footage of characters Angela Orosco, Eddie Dombrowski, and Laura. Eddie is seen armed, clearly looking a bit disturbed. Laura is then seen trying to run from James, questioning what could possibly hurt her. It cuts to Angele down on the floor, fidgeting with a bloody knife on the ground.
The upcoming SIient Hill 2 remake is developed by Bloober Team, and published by Konami Digital Entertainment. Much of the Polish developer’s catalog includes horror games like Layers of Fear, Observer, The Medium, and Blair Witch.
