The Peaky Blinders movie cast has added new members as production on the Netflix adaptation continues in London.
Original Peaky Blinders cast members Sophie Rundle (Gentleman Jack), Packy Lee (Blue Lights), Ned Dennehy (The Peripheral), and Ian Peck (His Dark Materials) will be reuniting with Cillian Murphy in the upcoming Netflix movie. They are expected to reprise their respective roles of Ada Thorne, Johnny Dogs, Charlie Strong, and Curly. In addition, Titans star Jay Lycurgo has also been tapped to join the project.
Who is involved in the Peaky Blinders movie?
Described as an epic continuation of the multi-award-winning gangster saga, the World War II-set film is directed by Tom Harper from a screenplay by Steven Knight. Also joining Murphy are Rebecca Ferguson (Dune), Barry Keoghan (Saltburn), and Tim Roth (Reservoir Dogs). Boardwalk Empire vet Stephen Graham has also signed on to return after previously playing the recurring role of Hayden Stagg in the final season of Peaky Blinders.
The Peaky Blinders movie is produced by Steven Knight, Cillian Murphy, Patrick Holland, and Guy Heeley. Executive producers are Harper, David Kosse, Jamie Glazebrook, Caryn Mandabach, and Andrew Warren. It is a production between Netflix and BBC Film. Last December 2023, it was reported that Netflix was developing two Peaky Blinders spin-offs, with the first one set to take place in the middle of the 20th century and the other one centered around the origins of Helen McCrory’s Polly Gray.
