Enchanted alum James Marsden has officially entered negotiations to join the Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice cast for 20th Century Studios‘ newest comedy movie.
Further details about his potential character remained under wraps. Marsden is no stranger to the comedy genre, after previously starring in Zoolander, 27 Dresses, Death at a Funeral, Anchorman 2, Walk of Shame and more. He was most recently seen in Netflix’s Unfrosted movie, which was directed by Jerry Seinfeld. Marsden is currently slated to reprise his role as Tom Wachowski in the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice will also be led by The Wedding Crashers’ Vince Vaughn. This marks Vaughn’s second collaboration with Marsden, after starring together in the 2015 comedy movie Unfinished Business. Besides the upcoming movie, Vaughn is also attached to star in 2025’s live-action/animated comedy Animal Friends with Ryan Reynolds and Jason Momoa, and in The Perks of Being a Wallflower director Stephen Chbosky’s upcoming Nonnas movie.
Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice will be written and directed by Scott Pilgrim Takes Off showrunner BenDavid Grabinski. The story is being described as “a buddy action comedy set in the criminal underworld.” The project will be produced by Andrew Lazar. It currently has no release date and specific plot details.
