The video introduces Kevin, a below-average superhero and a middle-aged dad who made it his life’s mission to clean up his hometown. It also gives us a preview of the crazy antics that he’ll venture in, as well as a glimpse of the interesting supporting characters he’ll meet through his adventures.

Koala Man is written and executive produced by creator Michael Cusack, who is also lending his voice to the titular character. It is also written and executive producers by showrunners Benji Samit and Dan Hernandez.

The series is being led by Cusak, Sarah Snook, and Demi Lardner. It also features the voices of guest stars Hugh Jackman, Jemaine Clement, Alexandra Daddario, Rachel House, Angus Sampson, Hugo Weaving, Michelle Brasier, Mark Coles Smith, Liam McIntyre, Claudia O’Doherty, Jordan Shanks, Natalie Tran and Jarrad Wright

“It follows middle-aged dad Kevin and his titular not-so-secret identity, whose only superpower is a burning passion for following rules and snuffing out petty crime in the town of Dapto,” reads the synopsis. “Though it may seem like any other Australian suburb, forces of evil both cosmic and man-made lie in wait to pounce on unsuspecting Daptonians. On a quest to clean up his hometown, and often roping his frustrated family into his adventures, Koala Man stands at the ready. He’ll do whatever it takes to defeat villainous masterminds, supernatural horrors, or worse: jerks who don’t take their rubbish bins down on the proper days.”

Koala Man is executive produced by Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland, Scott Greenberg, Ben Jones, Joel Kuwahara, Dana Tafoya-Cameron, Mike Coway, and Emma Fitzsimmons. It is produced by Dario Russo and David Ashby.
