Hulu has finally shared the Hit-Monkey Season 2 trailer for its the upcoming return of its animated Marvel series. The next installment is scheduled to premiere on Monday, July 15 on Hulu.

The Season 2 trailer highlights the next-level stakes that the titular assassin and Jason Sudeikis‘ ghost mentor Bryce must face in the upcoming season. This include saving all of humanity from a mysterious powerful villain. It also features Bryce making a deal with the Devil in order to regain his physical self for 48 hours. In addition to chance of becoming a hero, he tries to use this time to make amends with his estranged daughter.
Marvel’s Hit Monkey is created and executive produced by Josh Gordon and Will Speck, who are also serving as showrunners. The series also feature the voices of Fred Tatasciore as Monkey, Ally Maki as Haruka, Cristin Milioti as Iris, and Olivia Munn as Akiko, with Leslie Jones also joining Season 2. It is executive produced by Keith Foglesong, Matt Thompson, and Neal Holman, with Duffy Boudreau, Mollie Brock, and Marcus Rosentrater set as producers.
“In New York City, Monkey finds a path to escape his life of killing, while Bryce attempts to repair the damage to those he wronged in life. But what will it cost them to undo the past?,” reads the logline for Season 2.
