Another Five Nights at Freddy’s trailer has been released. The video showcases almost every animatronic monster in the upcoming live-action adaptation.
The latest trailer for Blumhouse’s upcoming film is mostly focused on those animatronic baddies. But more of Matthew Lillard’s character can also be seen, as he speaks to Josh Hutcherson’s Mike Schmidt about taking over as security guard for Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.

“The terrifying horror game phenomenon becomes a blood-chilling cinematic event, as Blumhouse brings Five Nights at Freddy’s to the big screen,” reads the synopsis. “The film follows a troubled security guard as he begins working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. While spending his first night on the job, he realizes the night shift at Freddy’s won’t be so easy to make it through.”
Five Nights at Freddy’s is being directed by Emma Tammi from a screenplay she co-wrote with game creator Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback. The adaptation stars Matthew Lillard (Scream), Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games films), Piper Rubio (Holly & Ivy), Mary Stuart Masterson (Some Kind of Wonderful), Elizabeth Lail (You) and Kat Conner Sterling (A Week Away).
Jim Henson’s Creature Shop has signed on to bring the video game’s horrifying robotic creatures to life. It will be produced by Cawthon and Blum, with Russell Binder serving as an executive producer.
The original Five Nights at Freddy’s game challenges players to survive for five nights as a security guard in a demented pizza entertainment restaurant where homicidal, possessed animatronics roam the halls in search of their next victims. The series went on to garner multiple sequels and spin-offs.
