What is Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl about?
“In this next installment, Gromit’s concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified, when Wallace invents a ‘smart’ gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past might be masterminding things, it falls to Gromit to battle sinister forces and save his master … or Wallace may never be able to invent again!”
The movie marks the official return of Feathers McGraw, an antagonist in the Wallace & Gromit franchise who was first introduced in 1993’s Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers.
Ben Whitehead is voicing Wallace in the new Wallace & Gromit film. He replaces Peter Sallis, the original voice of Wallace, who passed away in 2017. The rest of the voice cast includes Peter Kay, Lauren Patel, Reece Shearsmith, Diane Morgan, Adjoa Andoh, Muzz Khan, and Lenny Henry.
Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl will hold its world premiere on the closing day of this year’s AFI Fest on October 27, 2024, at the legendary TCL Chinese Theatre as part of the film’s Red Carpet Premieres section.
Nick Park, who created Wallace & Gromit in 1989, directs the movie alongside Merlin Crossingham. The screenplay was written by Mark Burton, while Richard Beek serves as a producer.
The movie will then be released on Netflix (except for in the UK) on December 25, 2024.
