What happens in the Aftermath trailer?
The Aftermath trailer sees Sprouse’s character stuck on Boston’s Tobin Bridge after a handful of ex-military contractors, led by Scream’s Mason Gooding, detonate a bomb. While Gooding’s character begins killing hostages, Sprouse must then rely on his own military training to protect his younger sister and everyone else who is trapped.
“Trapped on Boston’s Tobin Bridge after a bomb explodes, a former Army Ranger must use his elite training to save his sister and fellow hostages from a group of vengeful ex-military contractors led by an unhinged war criminal,” the official synopsis reads.
The script for the movie was written by Nathan Graham Davis. Lucas Jarach, Brian Pitt, and Timothy C. Sullivan serve as producers, while Megan Stott (Penelope, Little Fires Everywhere), and Dichen Lachman (Severance) round out the cast.
Lussier’s previous filmography includes 2000’s Dracula 2000, 2009’s My Bloody Valentine, 2011’s Drive Angry, 2019’s Trick, and 2022’s Play Dead. He has also directed episodes of Scream: The TV Series, Into the Dark, and The Purge.
Along with playing Zack Martin in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Sprouse is known for starring in movies such as 2018’s Banana Split, 2020’s After We Collided, 2022’s My Fake Boyfriend, 2023’s Beautiful Disaster, and 2024’s Beautiful Wedding.
Gooding, meanwhile, has starred in 2019’s Booksmart, 2022’s Moonshot, and the upcoming Y2K movie in addition to playing Chad Meeks-Martin in the Scream franchise. He also played Andrew Spencer in Hulu’s Love, Victor series.
Aftermath will be released in select United States theaters and on digital streaming services on November 1, 2024.
