New Daredevil: Born Again set photos from the upcoming Marvel Studios Disney+ series have been posted online, which continue to show Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, as he seems primed to run for mayor of New York City.
The latest photos come from a variety of Twitter posts and show not only D’Onofrio as Fisk, but also a scene set in Times Square as people celebrate New Year’s Eve. In those photos, various types of paraphernalia can be seen that sport the logo of the PymVanDyne foundation, signaling the connection between the series and the larger MCU.

The set photos follow a report from The Cosmic Circus, which says that a major storyline for D’Onofrio’s Fisk will see him attempt to become the mayor of New York City — a role that he’s held previously in various comic runs. However, all of this won’t happen in Daredevil: Born Again, as the report mentions that Fisk’s path to becoming mayor is expected to begin in the upcoming Marvel Studios series Echo, which will be led by Alaqua Cox as she reprises her role as Maya Lopez.
Daredevil: Born Again is described as an 18-episode revival of the original Netflix series, which ran for three seasons. It will feature the return of leading stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio as they reprise their respective roles as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.
Both characters made their Marvel Cinematic Universe debuts in 2021, with Kingpin guest-starring in the Disney+ Hawkeye series and Matt Murdock briefly appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Cox also recently guest-starred in two episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, where he got to show off a new side of the hero.
