TOPIC: Now What God?! (TREM Devotional 29 August 2022)
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: But the LORD delivereth him out of them all.” – Psalm 34:19 (KJV)
Wisdom For The Day MESSAGE:
In life situations, there is every tendency to want to exclaim and ask God such questions as; Now What?! Remember the story of Esther and Mordecai in the book of Esther. I am sure Mordecai must have wondered and asked a question such as; Lord why should Haman be enabled to wipe out your people?
You know Haman hated your people and yet you enabled him, you armed him, and you watched him receive the mandate to wipe out your people.
Now what God?! It is the answer we all demanded from God at one point or the other. It is an exclamation of God we want you to explain this. When we are in your will, we praise, we dance, we rejoice, we celebrate, we give and then the enemy turns around and begins to bombard our lives, Now What God?!
Joseph simply mentioned the dream that God gave him to his brothers and he found himself sold naked into Egypt. And right there while still in the will of God, he ended up being in jail for obeying God. Joseph must have exclaimed: Now What God?! Did I ask you for a dream?
Daniel refused to obey the decree that prohibited prayers and he was thrown into the lion’s den. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow to the King’s idol and God was sitting down on the throne and watching them thrown into the fiery furnace, Now What God?!
In the book of Mark chapter 4, Jesus said to His Disciples, let’s pass through the water to the other side, I want you to go to the other side so that you can have a rest. And as they were going the big storm and waves began to rise about to destroy the entire ministry and they were bailing out water. Some or probably all of them must have exclaimed, Now what God?! You did not tell us that we are going to sink halfway.
Beloved, you can go ahead and ask your questions with exclamation Now What God?! But I want you to know that God is always in all encounters. He is never confused! He will never leave you in the storm. He will deliver you and perfect everything that concerns you.
