A 300-level student of the Benue State University, Erekaa Naomi Dooshima, has reportedly been found dead.
The Mass Communication student, also known as Affection, was reported missing three days ago, and all efforts to locate her were futile.
A Benue activist, Ukan Kurugh, who relayed the news on Faccebook, disclosed that a phone, ID card, and blood-stained clothes said to belong to the missing student were found around Rahama clinic opposite Medical school, Makurdi, on Tuesday, February 21.
In a new development shared today, February 22, Mr. Kurugh said Erekaa has been found dead and her corpse is currently being exhumed by men of the Benue State Police Command.
The circumstances surrounding her tragic death are still sketchy as at the time of filing this report.

In other news, a bus conveying students of Madonna University, Rivers State, was involved in a horrific accident and went up in flames on Saturday.
At least 8 students of the varsity were burnt to the death in the terrible accident which occurred at TTC/Special Science School junction along the trans-Saharan road in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
The bus was reportedly traveling from Port Harcourt to Taraba State when it crashed on Saturday, February 18.
It was gathered that the students were returning to their respective homes ahead of the upcoming general elections on Saturday, February 25.
