Mercy Aigbe, the Nollywood actress, and her ex-husband, Lanre Gentry, on Saturday marked the 12th birthday of their son, Olajuwon.
The actress, on her Instagram page, shared a picture of the celebrant and showered him with prayers.
Aigbe noted that she was blessed to his mother, describing her son as “mummy’s male bestie.”
She wrote, “Happy birthday to my cutie pie, the love of my life. I give God all the glory for the gift of a son like you. You are so calm, gentle, extremely caring, very intelligent and I am so blessed to be your mum
“May you continue to flourish in God’s blessings. His countenance shall shine on you, you will find favour in the sight of men. The earth shall yield its increase for you and so you shall not lack.
“You will live very long in great health, unending blessings and the purpose of God shall be fulfilled in your life! Grace will not be lacking in your life! You will be a great blessing to the world.
“Happy birthday Olajuwon, Oluwajuwonlo Omo Mercy, Olowori mi Kekere; mummy’s male bestie, my Roblox game partner, and my pancake making teacher. I love you son.”
Gentry, on his Instagram page, shared a photo of his son and also wished him a happy birthday.
“To God be the glory my son is getting big as a big boy. May God be with you for me in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ amen. Happy birthday, long-life and prosperity, my Olajuwon Gentry,” the celebrant’s father wrote.
In January 2022, controversy trailed the paternity of Olajuwon after social media users raised concerns over the resemblance of the actress’ son and her latest husband, Adeoti Kazim.
Gentry, however, cleared the air and confirmed his fatherhood to their son, Olajuwon, which they had during their seven-year marriage.
The ace actress separated from her estranged husband in 2017 after she alleged that she suffered domestic violence in her marriage.
